I stared at my mate's plate in pure shock and surprise before it all turned to amusement. She can eat. She had enough to fill a pack house and three more. I smiled at that.

She was almost finished with her food when my Mother stood up, cleared her throat, and began, "Hello my fellow Bandits, how are we doing today?" People shouted out a series of "okay, great, good, decent." I glanced over at Orcid and saw her eyes wide and gaping.

"Anyhow everyone we have four guests joining us today because we caught them in our boundaries. Our guests please stand up."

Dove, Zaya, and Mina stood up while Orcid was uncertain and when she decided to stand something flashed in her eyes then diminished like a flame.

"You're a bandit??" I could tell she was angry.

I tried to grab her hand but she flinched and I saw the betrayal and hurt in her eyes. "Don't touch me. How could you Kane? I trusted you." I tried to explain to her but she cut me off-- "Forget it, Kane. Leave me alone." Even as she said this I could see the pain in her eyes and I knew she didn't want to leave.

She looked at Dove, Zaya, and Mina and without another glance at me she walked out, leaving me here with her friends following her.

I growled slightly and stood up, "You just can't keep your mouth shut?! My mate just walked out and I can't do anything!" I slammed the chair in front of me on the floor and it broke, since I was still mad I picked up another chair and flung it at the wall and it broke as it fell to the floor.

My mother stood at the podium in shock at what I just did and so did the rest of the Bandits and I felt a pang of guilt before it disappeared and I stormed out the room heading for my mate.
