As I was waking up I rolled over and as I fell of the bed I felt strong hands grab me. I unconsciously snuggled into the person that had caught me before I hit the floor. The floor...
My eyes snapped open and I took a shaky breath before jumping out of the person arms and standing up. My eyes had to focus before it settled on the blurry figure my eyes had conceived in my haste to get up.
Looking up from under my eyelashes I stared at the persons' eyes. Dark amber eyes. Instantly I got lost in his eyes, his scent, his...everything. "Mine," he growled and stalked towards me.
I whimpered and backed up pressing my back against the cold hard wall. He froze in his steps as he saw the fear evident in my eyes.
He whispered, "I am not going to hurt you." I stared at him and I made the mistake of looking in his eyes..yet again. Without thinking, I quickly walked to him and wrapping my arms around him I lay my head on his chest. He appeared slightly surprised but masked it and as he snuggled his face in my hair he breathed in my scent.
