I need you to tell the pack what happened."

******

Kane's POV

In honesty I didn't want to tell her. But when she was talking, she mentioned the Dire Mountain Pack. And that...Mina was taken there. She was going to be so worried but here we go. She was confused, she had no idea how serious this just got.

"Why," she asked me.

"Because, thediremountainpackisapackmadeforrogues," I rushed out.

She blinked, "Kane...what?"

I took a deep breath, "The Dire Mountain Pack is a pack made for rogues. The rogue king, Alpha Keaton, is the leader of that pack."

She started crying and ran to me. She wrapped her hands around my waist and cried. After, me soothing her for half an hour and her finally stopping the crying, we made it to the pack house.

My Mother and the pack rushed out to meet us.

"What the hell is--" She stopped mid sentence as she looked at Zaya and Lyvity.

"What happened?"

Orcid took a deep breath, "After the incident with my mate, me, Mina, Lyvity, and Zaya...we were looking for our horses and we.were...ambushed," she stated her voice cracking. I handed Zaya and Lyvity to the Beta and Third In Command before ordering them to take them to the pack infirmary.

I opened my arms, and Orcid walked into them, sobbing her eyes out. Her eyes were tightly shut while her face was buried in my chest. I picked her up in my arms, trying to soothe her.

"Orcid says that the Dire Mountain Pack took Mina, and froze Zaya and Lyvity with a spell." My mom slid her hand through her hair.

"So they have a worelock on their side," she asked even though she knew the answer. I nodded and rocked Orcid in my arms.

"But we have a witch," I said quietly. They stared at me, their eyebrows raised. Sighing, I pointed down at Orcid and everyone gasped.

"Your...you-re mate is a witch," my mom asked. I nodded my head.

"You can't be with her," my said. My eyes widen as I stared at her.

"Her kind did this to us," she exclaimed. "And yet you choose to be with that."

Orcid shot out my arms, "You really think that I would hurt you, Luna Michelle, the pack, or my mate. I love him. But...I shouldn't be somewhere I'm not wanted," she said, tears running down her face as she ran into the forest.

Growling, I glared at my Mother, "I, Alpha Kane, strip away Luna Michelle's power for disgracing her pack and Luna."

My Mother looked at me and suddenly dropped to the floor. She shifted into her wolf and fell to the floor. We all watched as her silver wolf lost its color and turned into a gray wolf. Whimpering, she took off into the forest, the opposite direction that Orcid went it.

"Listen up, Beta Gabriel, contact the magic healer, Zella. Heaven, follow me along with Arch. After you contact her, Gabriel, I need you to get her to heal Zaya and Lyvity. You, Beta, are in charge until I get back. Let's get moving," I ordered using my Alpha voice.

Arch and Heaven joined me and we raced into the forest to find Orcid.

We're coming for you, Orci.
