The next day at school Prim approached Harry during free period. She didn't waste time because she had already spent half the period sneaking out and hiking in the woods nearby.
"Harry, you looked at me during class yesterday and you had a look on your face that made me want to know what you were thinking. Sorry that came out bad. Why did you stare at me?"
"That's easy Prim," he replied, " You remind me of Katniss, and I've always liked you. I want to be friends."
"I remind you of Katniss?" Prim grumbled, a little surprised.
"Yes Prim. Did you ever think there was some sort of connection?"
"No- well... I've always felt drawn to The Games."
"Maybe there is a connection. Do you want to meet at my house on Friday to do some research?"
Prim simply nodded. She didn't need an address, everyone knew where Snow family lived. In the smallest house in the entire district is what Harry called home. After President Snow, Harry's great grandfather was killed, the rebels took everything the family had and left them with nothing but memories.
Prim had one class until she got to return home, and that class was History of the Games. The one class she had with Harry. It was her favorite class, because it was the only class that she thought mattered.
Today they started a unit on the first Hunger Games. They learned how it was a price and a lesson to the Districts for the Dark Days. The only thing Prim thought the entire class was how big of a load of crap all of that was. It was entertainment, cruel, unjust entertainment.
After an hour of lectures, the students returned home. Prim immediately strode to her room and pondered her upcoming meeting with Harry. But was it a date? Prim hoped it was. Something about Harry's eyes made her feel comfortable. She felt like she could say anything to him, even though they had just met.
