Chapter 3: Misunderstood

Diana POV

I suddenly woke up from my slumber as I heard my d-gazer alarming. I just tap the lensed and then the alarming sound stop. I stretch myself first before I took my uniform with me as I head to the bathroom.

After taking a shower and I dry myself then proceed to wear my school uniform. I rather change my clothes on the bathroom instead in my room. Why? In case you forgot... Yuma's room which is in attic that was connected to my room. And you know what will happened if I change clothes in there.

--Enough that stuff... speaking of his room I went in there and notice that it was a bit dark. The only light in there was from his window which the ray of the sunlight enters. There are many large boxes and I saw there is some attic stuff that contains in each boxes.

Near the window... I saw Yuma sleeping on the net, but it wasn't a fishing net obvious, that was hanging on each wall. The time that I was near him, the being from Astral world suddenly appear out of nowhere.

“Its Astral right?” I asked and he nod, "Good morning."

“Same as you...” From his response it felt cold.

I just shrugged it off and looked at Yuma to see him snoring there on his bed, “He isn't up yet?” Astral shook his head and I start to shook Yuma's shoulder but he was still sleeping, “He isn't an early waker, huh...” I muttered and suddenly an idea pop up in my mind.

I quickly went down stairs and head to the kitchen to saw Kari making breakfast. “Oh Diana you're up? I never thought you are an early waker like me.” She said.

“Well you know, I need to wake up early so that I won't get late from my first day of class.” I said as I took a glass and pour some water in it from the sink.

“I wish Yuma can learn something from you.” Kari said and that made me chuckled, “If you're going to wake him up, I suggest to let him be since he can wake himself up when he knows his already late.”

“I'm afraid I can't do that.” I give her half smile.

“Suit yourself.” she warn and I can sense that she was teasing me.

I went back to the attic while I brought a glass of water. Before I could go back there I suddenly notice a whole body mirror was hanging on the wall and I looked myself in there. “The green color isn't best match for my bangs and eyes.” I let out a sighed in disappointment way before I went to Yuma's room.

As I arrived in there, I saw Astral was still floating beside the sleeping Yuma. I smirked on every step I take until I was now standing beside his bed. “What are you doing?” Astral asked. I turn to him and gave a smile in despite that he was glaring at me.

“Just watch and learn...” I said as I looked back at Yuma. Without a second thought I pour the water on his face, “Rise and shine sleeping beauty!”

As the water splash on his face, Yuma automatically woke up as he fling himself to sat up, “I'm up! I'm up!” he exclaimed and suddenly lost his balance.

Before he could fall into me. I quickly step a side and let him fall, face first. “That's the way you wake him up.” I chuckled.

“Yuma are you alright?” Astral asked seemingly worried.

Yuma winced as he slowly sat up, “Yeah.” he looked at me in annoyed.

He opened his mouth to say something but I quickly spoke out. “Hurry up! We need to go to school before we are going late.” I said.

As I am half way down the ladder I hear Yuma said something; “Its too early... She is really like Kari.”

“Hey I heard that!” I shout and start to prepare my things.
