I asked my father why we go to church one day a year on Jesus's resurrection,
because we aren't religious
Is it not unfair to those who go commonly and lent,
He replied with something I will never forget;
People like me only care about business and money,
but when the rain comes and all is lost,
We remember our God,
We remember the importance of our health and blessings.
We pray to him for help,
like the selfish people we are
and only then is when religion counts to us.
Practicing my religion will not feed my children three meals a day,
but it will always be there in need of comfort.
