I told Max everything. I told him about the texts, the stalking, Mandy, and everything else. I didn't expect for him to call me crazy. He told me I need mental help, and it's all in my head.

I decided to tell him I was joking instead.

I think I will stop writing in this journal for now. Man hasn't spoken with me in the past few days, and this journal is making me relive memories I don't want to think about anymore. Maybe Man finally left me alone.

So this is it, for now.

-Lily

Lily shut her notebook and sprung off the floor to the door, almost being late for school. She rushed out the door and started walking to school.

As Lily was walking, she saw a familiar face.
"Max? I didn't know you lived around here," she questioned, as the boy turned around.

"Oh, yeah, my house is right over there," he gestured, giving Lily a welcoming smile. "Want to walk with me?"

By the time they reached the school, the two were hand in hand, laughing over mindless jokes the other told. They said their goodbyes and went to their first class.

The two got home after a long school day, and practically rushed into Lily's front door.  Lily stopped dead in her tracks in the doorway.

"Lily? You okay?" Max asked, trying his hardest to push past her to see why she stopped so suddenly.

On the floor lay a note, with a bloodied knife on the side. She ran to pick it up, her heart beating faster every second, her breaths coming in gasps.

My Beautiful Lily.
Let this be a warning to you as to what I am capable of.
I do not appreciate that boy, Max, being around you as much as he is. When will you learn? Just give in Lily.
If you don't, the blood will soon become his.

Lily fell on the ground in sobs, as Max picked up the note and read it. He stared at her in shock.

"Lily...That wasn't a joke, was it? T-this is actually happening? F-fuck Lily! What did you get me into?!" He yelled, pacing back and forth, a hand meeting his caramel hair.

Lily was letting out heavy sobs by now, her breaths scattered and uneven. Max was on the verge of crying himself, still pacing around in hopes to calm himself down.

"Lily what do we do? Call the police?" He asked, panic starting to settle in.

"I don't know, Max! I don't know! I-I need to text Mandy, I need to make sure she's okay." Her voice quivered as she spoke, a shaky hand grabbing for her cellphone.

Lily: Mandy I got the knife too.
