Memories

After about an hour of awkward silence between me and Hunk, we head back to Keith's room; Allura and Coran are still in there with Keith's still body. I feel my heart ache again, seeing my boyfriend lying on the hospital bed, knowing that he'll never wake up.
"How're you feeling Lance?" Allura asks in a soft tone. "Better. I ate some mac and cheese, and Hunk helped me talk through some things..." "That's good. A nurse came by earlier, and wondered where you went. We explained that you went to go get some food with a friend, and that we were friends of yours and Keith's. She understood, and told us to take all the time that we needed with him."
I nod my head and I sit by Keith again, I feel the pain of the emptiness in my heart again. "How's Pidge doing with her call?" I ask, still looking at Keith's pale face. "She was able to get the number of her mom's friend, Amelia, so she's in the middle of a call with her now." Coran informs. "Okay. Do you know yet if Amelia can make a keychain out of Keith's ashes?" "Not yet, but from what we've seen in Pidge's facial expressions it seems that she might be able to." I see Coran smile softly out of the corner of my eye, and I smile a little bit too. "That's good to hear, Coran."
I hold Keith's hand, and I rub his knuckles with my thumb; it reminds me of the times when we would sit on one of our beds, and just cuddle together until we grew tired. I feel my heart ache at the numerous memories, but even more when I think about a pillow fight we had. It was late at night and Keith and I were talking about our childhoods.

(A/N: I'll use bold italics to represent the flashback and dialogue and all that great klance stuff)

"What did you do as a kid? I know I used to go outside and play soccer with my siblings, then we'd play in the living room and have pillow fights while our mom made dinner." I said to Keith, as we were cuddling in our bed.
"Pillow fights...? What are those?" I gasp dramatically then take his face into my hands, making him look at me.
"Do you not know of the greatest thing mankind has ever invented??" I say dramatically. "Should I?" "You will now!"
I smirk, then hit him lightly on the arm with a stray pillow on the bed. "Hey, what was that for?" "That, mi amor, was the beginning of a grand pillow fight. Care to battle with the greatest pillow fighter in the galaxy?~" "It would be my greatest pleasure, Sharpshooter~"
We got onto our knees and grabbed the pillows we had just been lying down on, then proceeded to hit each other with the pillows. We laughed at our absurdity, seeing as we were teenagers who were having a pillow fight so late at night. I couldn't help smiling at Keith, and how he seemed to be having so much fun with something so simple.

"Hey Keith?" "Yes Sharpshooter?~" "I love you, so much."
"I love you too Lance."

We were having such a great time then... Who would've known he had a wall up to hide his true emotions... Soon, all I'll have of him, are his old clothes, his ashes, and the memories we shared when we were dating...

I have no regrets from writing any of that lmao. I apologize if I made anybody feel sad during this chapter.
