she was trapped inside her mind
bound and gagged
suffocated
from the weight of his body
on her rib cage.
fragile and small
with bones so weak
she could feel her soul sigh with their cracking.
from her throat came such roaring
but alas
it never left her body
its stance utterly rigid
frozen in the purest terror.
what was to become of her?
before she went with him
she should have
remembered to run.
