Dan, Phil and Louisa were on their way to the park. Louisa loved going there, she always tried to make her daddies go on the swings with her, though the seats were much too small for either Dan or Phil to sit in.

'Daddy, swing with me!' Louisa giggled.

'But I'm busy pushing you!' Dan replied.

'Not you, other daddy.'

Phil let out a laugh and reluctantly sat in the swing next to Louisa.

'Daddy, can you push me too?' Phil joked, poking his tongue out at Dan.

'Fine...' Dan pushed Phil and Louisa until his arms grew too tired. 'Philly, we're swapping!'

'What? I never agreed to that! Hey, Lou, is that fair?'

Lou nodded, a large smile plastered on her face.

'Alright, then,' Phil sighed.

Louisa was currently going down the slide over and over again. Another little girl was skipping over to the park with her mother.

'Look, mummy! There's another girl there! We can play together!' She squealed.

Her mother laughed. 'You go ahead and talk to her, I'll talk to her daddy.' The woman walked over to Dan and Phil, a smile on her face.

'Hi, I'm Amelia. Nice to meet you.'

'Dan and Phil, nice to meet you too.'

'So, who's is she? It's nice to see a friend helping out a father, I could do with that from time to time.'

'Oh, no, we're not just friends. She's both of ours.' Phil answered.

The woman's eyes widened.

'Oh- uh, sorry, I have to... Daisy! Daisy, come here please!'

'No, no, no, we're fine! We're nice! You don't have to leave!'

Amelia snorted out a tiny laugh. 'I'm only kidding! My sister dared me to do that. She told me that I had to act afraid of the next gay couple I spoke to... My daughters name isn't even Daisy, it's Milly.'

'R-Right. Uh, ours is Louisa.' Dan replied.

'Oh, that's nice. I'm sorry if I scared you, by the way.' Amelia smiled.

Louisa came skipping up to Dan and Phil.

'I'm hungry.'

'Of course you are...' Phil chuckled. 'Come here, we'll get some ice cream.' He stretched out his arms and picked Louisa up, tickling her on the way.

'Daddy!' She squealed.

The trio walked towards a little ice cream shop just around the corner.

'I really hate all this walking,' Dan whispered in Phil's ear, causing him to let out a silent laugh. He linked their hands together, his spare hand around Louisa's.

'Faggots!' A guy called out, chucking a rock at the back of Dan's head.

Phil grumbled and picked Louisa up, shielding her from any other rocks.

'Keep walking, Dan.'

'Hey! We're talking to you, you pieces of shit!' A different guy shouted. He threw a rock at Phil and laughed.

'Daddy, I'm scared!' Louisa started sobbing into Phil's t-shirt. He bent down to kiss her on the forehead.

'Shh, it's okay. I'll protect you from them, okay?'

Dan turned around and swung his fist at one of the guys' face.

'Ow! Dan, what the hell?' Phil cried, startled.

'What? Oh... Oh shit, sorry, bad dream, uh...' Dan kissed Phil on the nose. 'Sorry, I'll get some ice... Uh... Love you.'
