This is Me

The aftermath of 1x10

Simon saw his family in the audience. Well except for his father. He should have expected it. His dad wouldn't love him for who he truly is. But when it comes to his mom and Emma, he has no clue what they are going to think.

After the curtains had closed Jeremy went to go talk to Francis.

Simon thought long and hard.

This was going to break his family.

This was going to cause his whole family to collapse. Just the thought made him tear up.

"Simon, hey simon." He was suddenly knocked out of his trance.

"Are you okay simon?"

When Simon saw it was Jeremy, he didn't say anything, he just wrapped his arms around him.

"Jeremy." Was all he could muster after a few moments.

"Simon, what's the matter." Jeremy was shocked but kept holding Simon.

"I-I'm Gay. I like you Jeremy. I finally accepted it."

Jeremy let go of Simon so he could see his face.

"Simon. I like you too."

"I want to tell my family."

"I mean, if you want to, then do it. But you just accepted who you are, are you sure you're ready for that?"

"Well, no I'm not telling my dad but maybe my mom, yeah and sister."

As if on que, Emma ran up behind Simon and have him a huge hug.

"I'm so proud of you!" She said loudly.

"Thanks Em." He turned around to hug her back.

"You were amazing sweetie." Mrs. Saunders said with a smile.

"Thank you. Where's Dad?"

"The church."

Of course, Simon thought. Probably trying to pray the gay out of his son.

"Mom, can I talk to you alone?"

She knew what this was about. "Sure."

Simon held Emma's hand and walked her to Jeremy who had backed away a few feet.

"Emma this is my... friend Jeremy."

Jeremy bent down a little and stuck out his hand to her. "Simon never told me that you were so beautiful!" He smiled.

Simon walked back back to his mother.

"Mom, i have a secret. A pretty big one."

"I think i know Simon."

"Um.."

His mom breathed and took his hand into hers. "I saw how you looked at that boy on stage. That couldn't have been acting. It was too deep. Too personal."

Simon started to cry. "I'm so sorry." he said, getting chocked up.

"Oh, sweetie." Patricia wrapped her son in a hug. "I still love you, no matter what."

"What about Dad?" 

"We can't tell him. But when he isn't home, your boyfriend can come over any time."

"He isn't my boyfriend." Simon laughed as he pulled out of the hug.

"Well I think he is." A voice said behind him. It was Jeremy.

Simon turned around and wiped his tears away. "Is that your way of asking me out?

Jeremy blushed. "Maybe."

"Jeremy is it?" Patricia interrupted 

"Yes ma'am, nice to meet you." Jeremy shook her hand.

"You are a very polite boy. We were going to go out to dinner, would you like to join us?"

"Well Simon, only if you're okay with it."

Simon looped his arm through Jeremy's. "You are my boyfriend after all, so yes."

Simon slowly kissed Jeremy. He came out. No one was stopping them now.

Sorry for it being so short but here is the first story! Feel free to recommend a story line, it will help it a lot. I think i may want to do one where Simon is over Jeremy's and after his dad finds out he isn't at Lilette's he confronts his at Jeremy's house. I also think Jeremy venting about Simon to Francis would be cool, let me know if you want to see that!
