The final episode of Riverdale finished, but I was the only one able to see it, considering everyone else had fallen asleep. Lauren, Brandy, and Madison were spread out on one end of the couch. Lola had finally fell off the couch and onto the floor. I'm actually surprised she hadn't lost all consciousness from all the blood flowing to her head while she hung upside down from the couch. Carly had moved to the floor and Grant was asleep beside me on the other side of the very large couch.
To say that the bus was a mess was an understatement. There was popcorn everywhere because buckets had been knocked over and we may or may not have had a contest to see if we could catch popcorn in our mouth. Also because of the fact that Lauren, Brandy, Madison, and Carly fought over who was cuter, Archie or Jughead, while Lola yelled at them to just "shut up and watch the movie."
I got up from my seat and slowly walked to my bunk to get a blanket, careful not to wake Grant or step on one of the girls in the floor. I grabbed my blanket and went back to my spot on the couch. Just as I was settling in Grant woke up, yawning and trying to get out of his sleepy state.
"What time is it?" He finally said in a whisper. I tapped on the home button of my phone, making the screen light up and blind me half to death.
"Eleven thirty-two." I answered him before snuggling into the couch again.
"Crap! I've got to go. I was supposed to be home an hour and a half ago." He explained as he attempted to wake up Carly, resulting in her slapping him in the face. She then got up the rest of the way and woke up Madison as well. They all started to gather up their things and I stood up from the couch, wrapping my blanket around my shoulders.
"Well, thanks for letting us watch Riverdale with you. It was really fun." Carly told me as she stepped down the stairs of the bus, Madison in tow as always.
"It was the least I could do to thank you for saving my life." I told her and we all laughed.
"It was nice to meet you and thanks, again." Madison told me as Carly dragged her around the bus and towards the parking lot. So, she did talk!
"I guess I better go before they, and by "they" I mean Carly, hot wire my car." He smirked as he made his way down the steps as well, making me smile. "Thanks, by the way. Tonight was.. interesting." He laughed and his smirk turned into an actual smile. I couldn't muster up the courage to say anything so I looked down at my bare feet.
"I guess I should be getting home, and you need to get some sleep." He suddenly broke the awkward silence. "Goodnight Aliyah." My eyes snapped up to meet his brown ones.
"Goodnight Grant."
He smiled then walked around the bus to get to the parking lot. I shut the bus door back and walked back to couch. I pulled the blanket around my shoulders and sighed before sitting back down.
Now what am I going to do?

The next morning I woke up to the sound of music filling my ears. My eyes snapped open to reveal an already-dressed Lola sitting at the table. Her laptop open and AC/DC's Thunderstruck blaring from the speakers.
"Good morning, Sleeping Beauty. You need to hurry and get dressed, take a shower, or whatever because we're going out to eat in a bit and possibly go shopping. And yes, it's already ten o'clock." She told me as Lauren walked in, fully dressed as well, sitting in front of Lola at the table. I yawned before going back towards our bunks to find me some clothes. Brandy was laying in her bunk her headphones in her ears. She took them out when she noticed me walk in though.
