We made our way back up the sidewalk slowly, Grant gripping me tightly in his arms, careful not to drop me. Carly and her friend, Madison I think, were walking silently beside us. I looked up at Grant, his brown eyes lit up in the light that was shining from the streetlights. He must have noticed that I was watching him because he looked down at me with a smirk. I quickly looked back down at my hands and I felt my cheeks start to slowly heat up. I really hope it's dark enough that he can't see my face turn as red as a tomato. We finally reached the parking lot where two security guards stood on watch. I'm grateful that these guys had stayed here to protect us, but right now I wish they hadn't. I recognized one of the security guards and had to keep myself from screaming out in frustration.

"I'm going to need some form of identification before I can let you pass, please." He told me in his usual snarky tone. I looked down at the many necklaces that hung around my neck, only to realize that my V.I.P pass wasn't one of them.

"Hey Brad, can't you just let us through. You know who I am!" I begged him and he rolled his eyes.

"Sorry, Ali. It's procedure." He told me and I huffed in annoyance. Can you believe this guy?

"Grant, could you put me down for a second while I have a little talk with Brad?" I asked him, my eyes still narrowed at Brad. Grant reluctantly sat me down gently, probably so I wouldn't fall again. I slowly marched up to Brad, ignoring the pain in my ankle.

"Why can't you just let us through?" I snapped at him and he just looked at me, the stupid smirk still in his stupid face.

"Because I told you, it's procedure and I'm not getting fired 'cause of you!" He told me plainly, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Fine I'll call Brandy and tell her to bring me my freaking badge! Will that you make you happy?" He nodded as I went to grab my phone out of my jacket pocket, only to realize that I had left it at the bus as well.

          Well dang.

"Grant, do you, maybe, think you could let me borrow your phone to call Brandy?" I asked him sheepishly, causing him to laugh. He pulled his phone out of his back pocket and handed it to me, a smile on his face. I smiled back as I dialed Brandy's number on his phone. It rang a couple of times before going straight to voicemail.

        Are you kidding me Brandy?

I dialed her number again and sighed in relief when she finally answered her phone.

"Hello?" She asked worriedly and I knew she was freaking out because she didn't recognize the number.

"Thank God! Brandy, it's Ali, I really need you to bring me my V.I.P badge to the security gate. Brad is being overly nice tonight." I explained to her sarcastically and I heard her snort through the phone.

"I think someone may have a crush on you! Or maybe he's just a regular jerk all of the time." I felt my mouth fall open at the words coming out of her mouth. Brad liking me? I think I'm gonna throw up.

"Will you just shut up and bring me my badge!" I begged her and she groaned. "Please?"

"Okay, I'll bring the badge. But you better be glad I love you, you're interrupting Riverdale!" She told me and I rolled my eyes.
