"No."

That's all he says. Then as if on cue, the rest of the group turns and leaves.

The one you slapped still had a mark on his left cheek, making a feeling of satisfaction bloom inside you.

After a moment, you, Namjoon and the new student are the only ones in the corridor.

"Help him up," the light brunet says.

You look down at the classmate who is finally picking up his black rimmed glasses.

"Here." You offer your hand out, and the latter immediately takes it once he could see.

"What's your name?"

"Hyeolguk." The latter responds with an attempted smile.

Namjoon makes a small gasp. "Ooh! Similar to Jungkook's."

"Who's Jungkook?" Hyeolguk asks, tilting his head innocently to the side and pushing his glasses up with a finger.

He looks like a child since he is shorter than you, and has such a corresponding demeanour.

"Jungkook is my friend." You say, thinking about his lack of interaction with you lately.

"Ah. Anyway, I have to go to the library. I'll see you around I guess? And thank you for helping me." Hyeolguk blabbered as fixed his backpack on his back and started walking off.

As you and Namjoon watch the classmate leave, you hear crutches.

They stop next to you as Hyeolguk goes through the grey double doors.

"I don't know..."

"You don't know what a semi colon does, Park Jimin?" The teacher's tone of voice is, what I found, unnecessarily cocky.

"I don't think I'm the only one..." the blond murmurs in reply beside me.

The class remains silent, but you know this makes your friend even more anxious.

So you become anxious for him.

"Where's your table of punctuation and purposes?"

"I don't know, it's not in my book."

"Why's that?"

"'Cause you didn't give us glue last lesson." Your friend almost snaps.

Exactly Jimin!

"I don't have it either." You speak up.

"I'm not talking to you, Taehyung." Well... "Jimin you have a 20 minute detention afterschool."

Another student speaks. "For what?"

This is what you love about your English class; everyone defends each other.

"If anyone apart from the person I'm speaking to speaks again, they will have a detention along with Jimin."

That'd be good though. Who doesn't love Jimin?

"Taehyung, help him. Deohae, go and photocopy this table for Jimin."

Unfortunately, Namjoon isn't in your English class, so you have extra work to do.

Either way, both you and the girl comply to your teacher's instructions.
