The suspect gazes blankly and carelessly at the interrogator, who is receiving papers of some sort from the police officer.
Once her attention is on the seemingly egotistical latter, her eyebrows furrow.
"We need to see your face, thought you would've removed your mask by now." She says, closing the door softly and making her way to her seat.
"Come on~" The male whinges in a deep tone, leaning forward.
That same deep voice…
It seems unnatural.
"It's not that hard to ask questions to a guy with part of his face concealed, is it?" He tilts his head to the side, and you notice his eyes becoming round by widening them.
He shifts demeanour by letting out a little scoff all of a sudden.
He leans back and manspreads. "Besides, Mr Lets-Their-Friend-Be-Run-Over here doesn't need to know who I am."
He's talking about me!
Before you have time to release any anger, Jimin immediately does it for you:
He bangs his right fist on the thick, reinforced glass.
The product of the action is a sound from impact, echoing around the room.
Some workers even stop their typing to look round at Jimin.
"Don't talk shit!" He yells.
On the other side, this makes the interrogator startled, but the masked one simply drags his eyes across the three of you.
However, you see fear in his eyes as he makes eye contact with you.
You hear Namjoon mutter from your left, "That wasn't smart to say."
"Please, for confidential reasons, take off the mask."
The male simply gives the woman a death stare with lazy eyes, his eyes barely visible through his bangs.
"...Also, do you just realise you just told that person who you are?"
The interrogator receives a scoff from the masked latter. "How?" He asks, voice still low.
"Well, how do you know his friend got run over?"
"...Fuck." The suspect aggressively grabs the mask's elastic that's hooked around his right ear without hesitation.
He decides to whip it off in defeat.
It's as if he was prepared for this… wait… are you kidding me?
