Chapter 4

Jenayahs POV

I woke up and looked at my side to look if my dad was here. I couldn't believe what I saw. My dad wasn't there but this was different.. honestly kinda better.

I got up off the hospital bed straight away and hugged Shane with tears in my eyes, tears of joy.

"You don't know how hard it was leaving you." I told him

"Why did you try leaving for good then?" He sobbed "Jenny my life would be nothing if you left this world, you don't even know how hard I cried and how worried I was." he said and hugging me and stroking my head.

"I'm so sorry.." I cried into his shoulder.

Hours past by just talking to him..

"So.. When are you leaving?" I asked Shane

"Ehh.. maybe next Friday.." He said and shrugged. " when are you getting out of the hospital?" He asked

"Maybe tomorrow or in 2 days" I told him

"Hopefully you leave tomorrow I wanna walk around here but not without my best friend" he said which made me smile like an idiot.

"Are you staying at my house while your here?" I asked him

"Yea your dad said I could and he's also paying half my trip here" he told me. I'm so happy that my dad did this just so my best friend could be here with me at this hard time..

"That's awesome! I can't wait till I get home" I said to him

He left after an hour and I went to sleep

A female nurse came in my room and woke me up "I'm here to inform you that you can leave this afternoon." She told me politely and smiled "thank you." I smiled at her.

Shane came in and helped me gather afew of my things. Before I knew it, it was already time to go.

Me and Shane left the hospital and went straight to my house. I went into my room and everything was already up and decorated. Shane knew what I was like so he probably put everything in place.

"Were you the one who did my room?" I asked him

"Why does it look bad?" He asked

"No not at all. I couldn't have done it better myself" I said

"Oh.. Yea I did it and thanks.. I think?" He said. Typical Shane, always getting confused.

I laughed at him "Wanna go to the mall?" I asked him

"Sure, I'd like to meet some Australian guys if you know what I mean" he winked and did a little weird dance. I laughed at him again.

"Well let's go!" I said and went out the room and down the stairs.

"Dad were going to the mall can we use the car?" I asked my dad

"You don't even know how to drive" He said.

"Yea, but Shane does" I said to him

"Fine but don't do anything stupid" I think he's talking bout the time we crashed his old car..

"Yep.. And that was 2 years ago!" I said and laughed.

Right now I'm glad they saved my life, otherwise I wouldn't be here with my best friend.

We got into the car and drove to the mall.

We got to the mall fast since I didn't live that far from there.
