Zach's POV
(4 days later)
Zach: 100. You official have a fever.
Carter: Sh*t.
Zach: And on your birthday too. That's gotta suck.
Carter: Well, at least I have *cough cough* you.
Zach: Yeah. Sure. I'm gonna go get you food, okay?
Carter: Okay.
I walked out of their room and closed the door. I ran to the kitchen and washed my hands.
Ariel: Is it bad?
Zach: i mean, if you get rid of the vomit and 100 degree fever, she's peachy.
Ariel: Damn. What a way to start 19.
Zach: I' told her I was gonna make her food.
Ariel: Don't! When she's like this, food makes it 10 times worse. Just give her some water and the TV remote.
Zach: Okay. Can I talk to you for a second?
Ariel: Yeah.
Zach: Have you heard about the situation?
Ariel: The fact that she's dating you, Yeah.
Zach: No. She is "dating" each of us for a week to see who she likes the best.
Ariel: Oh.
Zach: If she picks me, is that gonna be awkward. Like, your stepbrother dating your best friend.
Ariel: Nope. It's not like we grew up together or anything.
Zach: Great.
Carter: ARE YOU EVER COMING BACK?
Zach: I'LL BE RIGHT THERE BABY GIRL! I should...
Ariel: Yeah. She'll cut you.
I grabbed a bottle of water and went back to her room.
Carter: Thanks boo.
Zach: And here is the TV remote.
Carter: Did Ari tell you to do that?
Zach: Yeah.
Carter: Well, she's wrong. I'm gonna sleep.
Zach: You do that.
She turned on her side and nestled her head into the pillow. I sat down beside her and played with her hair until she fell asleep.

Carter's POV
(The next day)
Luckily my thing was only a 24 hour bug so o got over it pretty fast. I woke up the next day peachy keen. Until Heather called and told me that I had a photo shoot.
Carter: Sh*t. I have a photo shoot today babe.
Zach: Hey, I'll come with you.
Carter: That would be a great idea! I'll tell Heather and if she says it's a bad idea, up her's.
Zach: Should you say that about your manager?
Carter: She's my older sister, it's fine.
I got up and put on sweatpants and a T-shirt. Zach was taking forever to get ready and we were gonna be late.
Carter: ZACHARY DEAN HERRON HURRY THE HELL UP!
Zach: Sorry!
He ran out of my room fully clothed and his hair was a mess.
Carter: It took you that long to get ready?
Zach: I didn't do my hair.
Carter: You can do it in the car.
I left Ari a note and we drove to the location. I was rushed to hair and makeup.
Zach: So do they always do this to you?
Stylist 1: She can't talk. We have to get it perfect.
Zach: Oh Ok.
The day went pretty smoothly. Zach was bored but that's because I was being rushed around. I promised him that after the shoot that we would do something. After another 3 hours of running around, we were finally done. It was like already 5:30.
Zach: Are you done changing?
Carter: Yup. So, what are we doing?
Zach: I found this place that is having a drive in movie night.
Carter: Ooo. Sounds romantic. Let's go.
He got in my car and tried to convince me to let him drive, he quickly realized that it as the gonna happen. I drove us there and we parked.
Carter: What movie are they showing?
Zach: IT!
Carter: Noooo. You know I hate scary movies!
Zach: Oops, I forgot. Too late, it's starting.
I couldn't deal. I barely made it through. I was hiding my head in Zach's chest and I heard a familiar voice.
Carter: I didn't know Finn was in this!
Zach: I did. That's why I picked it.
Carter: Thanks so sw- AAAAH!
I fell asleep with in 45 minutes of it starting. Zach drove us home and I was still sleeping. Tow boys down, three to go. Next up, Jonah Marais.
