Carter's POV Liza: Welcome back! I'm Liza Koshy and I'm here in LA at the Golden Globes. I have with me my two dear friends, both are nominated for awards this evening, Carter Ryder and Noah Schapp. Hey guys how are you doing tonight? Noah: I'm doing great. A little nervous though. Carter: Yeah. Definitely some nerves but I'm also really excited because this is my first time at one of things. Liza: You'll do great. Speaking of great you two are looking absolutely fantastic. Christian worked really hard for 2 1/2 weeks and this is the final product.

Liza: That is a beautiful dress Carter. Carter: Thank you. My new friend Christian Siriano made it. Noah: It looks really great on you. Carter: Thanks. You look fantastic too. Liza: How does it feel to be presenting an award at your first show Carter? Carter: Stressful. But, I'm prepared. I'm sure the boys can all repeat my speech from memory. They're all watching from the house. Noah: I know you'll do great Carter. Liza: I'm living for all the support from Noah. I heard your getting married next year Carter. How do you feel Noah? Noah: Well, I'm happy for her and Corbyn but she was mine first. Carter: There will always be a spot in my heart for you. Liza: Too cute. Thank you guys for talking with me. Best of luck to you both! I took Noah's hand and we made out way toward the building. Corbyn stayed home because he got sick. I heard a familiar voice and spotted Millie with a guy I'd never seen before. Carter: Millie! She turned around and walked over to us. Millie: Hi guys! Noah: Who's this? Alan: I'm Alan. Millie's boyfriend. Carter: Hi. I'm Carter, Millie is a goddess and if you dare mistreat her, I will send an army of small children to your house and kill you. Noah: She comes on a bit strong. Millie: This is the girl I keep talking about. Alan: Oh Yeah. Charlie: Hey guys. Natalia: The press wants a cast photo. Millie: Let's go. We made our way closer and closer to the door until we caught up with the rest of the cast. The press took photos and we all walked in together. Everyone found the tables they were sitting at. The only cast memebers I was sitting with were Finn, Joe, and Aunt Winona. 2 more people cam to our table. I looked up and it was Liza and her used to be ex boyfriend David. I stood up and gave them each a hug and they sat down. After about 30 minutes, a voice came over the sound system telling everyone to take their seats. Everything went quiet. Voice: Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the 76th annual Golden Globes with your host, James Corden! He walked out on stage and the show had started. After a few minutes, one of the backstage people came and got me to go backstage and get everything I needed. James Corden: Our first presenter of the evening is new to the Globes and is nominated for one tonight. Ladies and gentlemen, Carter Ryder. He walked off stage and I walked on and to the mic. Carter: Every show needs a good supporting role to help build the plot. We get so attached to them and we can relate to them in a way like no other. Weather it be a supportive yet secretive gay best friend or an adorable sidekick from the 80s, these actors have won our the hearts of millions with their amazing performances. And the nominees for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series are... Mark Consuelos, Riverdale. Casey Cott, Riverdale. Joe Keery, Stranger Things. Gaten Matarazzo , Stranger Things. Skeet Ulrich, Riverdale. And the Golden Globe goes to... I opened the envelope. Carter: Mark Consuelos, Riverdale! I looked over at Gaten and he looked a little upset but he was still happy. Joe was smiling. Mark made his way up and he even stopped by Joe and Gaten on the way and they hugged him. He hugged me and was handed his Golden Globe then gave a great speech. The lady that gave him his award showed us off stage. Mark: You're doing great for your fist time here. Carter: Thank you so much. Voice: We will be back with the 76th Annual Golden Globes after this. Mark: We should head back to our seats. Carter: Yeah. Congrats on the Globe. Mark: Thanks. Good luck on your award. Carter: Thank you. I made my way back to the table and sat down. Joe: That was really good. Carter: Thanks. Sorry you didn't win. Joe: It was an honor to be nominated. We all laughed. We talked for a bit longer until they announced that we were live again. James Corden: Welcome back! Our next presenters are a television virgin and her frienime. Ladies and gentlemen please welcome Gina Rodriguez and Yael Grobglas. Gina: Suporting roles are key to every show. Yael: I should know. Gina: I wouldn't really call you a supporting role. Yael: That's so sweet. Gina: Yeah no problem. Yael: The nominees for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series are... Gina: Helena Bonham Carter- The Crown Yael: Vanessa Morgan- Riverdale Gina: Madelaine Petsch- Riverdale Yael: Carter Ryder- Stranger Things Gina: Sadie Sink- Stranger Things My heart was racing. I was holding on to Aunt Winona's hand really hard and taking deep breaths. Yael: And the Golden Globe goes to... They opened the envelope and smiled. Yael: You do it. Gina: Let's do it together. Both: Carter Ryder- Stranger Things! I was freaking out on the inside but I got up. I hugged Aunt Winona and started heading up to the stage. Gina and Yael hugged me and handed me the envelope and my Golden Globe. Carter: Wow. I was not expecting this. Well first off I want to thank the Duffer Brothers for letting me be a part of this. I want to thank Aunt Winona for landing me the role of Chloe, with out her I wouldn't.be standing on this stage today. I want to thank the wonderful cast. You guys are all the best people and it's been great to work with each and every one of you. My parents who have always stood by me in everything I've ever done. My boys. Eben, Zach, Jack, Daniel, and Jonah. You guys are the lights of my life and this past year, as hectic as it has been, you guys have all stood with me. And last but not least my wonderful fiancée, Corbyn. You are my rock and I can't wait to become your wife. Thank you!
The rest of the night was great. Aunt Winona won for Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series. And we won Best Drama Series. The after party was fun but Noah and I were really tired so we left early. We decided to go to a diner to get some food. It was really good. Some people there recognized us. When I got home I threw my heals off and quietly made my way upstairs. I took a shower and put on some pjs. I walked back into my room and climbed in bed. Corbyn: Congrats Carter. Carter: Thanks babe. I kissed his forehead. Corbyn: Good news is my fever broke and I'm feeling better. Carter: That's great. Corbyn: You looked fantastic tonight, Carter: Thank you. I'm so tired can I sleep please. Corbyn: Yeah. Goodnight princess, Carter: Good night.
