Falling For You

chapter 9

Chapter 9:

After the boys had finally finished cleaning, which seemed like forever. We all decided to go to the park and play some basketball. Since I already had sweats on I was just waiting for the boys to get dressed.

“Will you guys hurry up it’s not a beauty pageant”, I said while standing outside on my phone.

“We are almost done”, Austin said,

“Well y’all are taking forever”, I said back with some sass, hey I may not be girly but I can put on my sass.

“Alright we are done, now we can leave”, Austin said while all three of them come out with a basketball,

“Took ya long enough”, I said while walking downstairs. I walked into the living room and grabbed my bag and we all headed off to the park.

At the park

“So how is this gonna work who is on whose team”, I said while grabbing the ball.

“UM I don’t know how about we blind fold someone then the other three have to get in like this circle and whoever they pick are on their team and then the other two are team mates?” Alex said while looking at us.

“Sure that would be cool but who are we going to blind fold?” Robert said,

“I nominate Ella”, Austin said while pointing at me,

“I second that”, “me too”, both Alex and Robert said,

“Well I guess so, but do we have something to use as a blindfold?” I ask while looking to see if we have anything,

“Well why don’t we just use the hat and put it over your eyes”, Alex said

“That’s a brilliant idea”, I said while grabbing the snap back and putting it over my eyes,

“Okay guys get into the small circle and I will spin three times and whoever I stop in front of is my team mate okay” I said waiting for a response,

“Okay”, the said in unison. I spin three times and I am really dizzy but when I am done I take off the hat and see that I am in front of Alex.

“Looks like I am your partner”, I said while going and grabbing the ball, “so how is this going to work should we flip a coin?”

“Yeah let’s do that because no more spinning I felt sick looking at you”, Robert said while I was laughing at him.

“Okay Austin heads or tails?” I ask him while I throw the coin in the air and let I land on my hand,

“Heads”, he says and it is heads.

“Okay let’s get this game going”, I say while getting in my position.

After the game

“Wow Ella I didn’t know you could play that good”, Alex said while we were walking to Austin’s house.

“Um yeah I started in middle school and have been playing since then”, I say while dribbling the ball down the sidewalk.

“No you aren’t good”, Robert says,

“Oh”, I say and look down,

“You are amazing”, he then says,

“Really I guess I’m alright, I’m not some NBA all-star player”, I say,

“You could be confused for one because that half court shot you made was pretty cool”, Alex’s says while grabbing the ball from me.

“I mean that was just a shot you guys can probably do that”, I say while just looking down,

“No only Austin can do that out of us three”, Robert says while looking at Austin. By just looking at him he doesn’t look like himself I mean he hasn’t talked this whole time I wonder what is wrong.

“Hey Austin can I talk to you?” I ask while looking at him.

“Sure you guys can go ahead we will catch up with you”, He says while we sit at a bus bench and just talk.

Hey people who read my story.

I am so sorry that i don't update all of the time i wish that  had my own computer to do that but sadly i cant. So i will try and update as much as i can.
