The Accidental Skype Call

Chapter 7

A few minutes passed by as I was still sitting in the car and I decide I should just drive back home and spend my day alone. But then I got a call from Joey and my heart dropped, what if he knows. 

"Hey, dad whats up?" I ask innocently.

"I'm sure this is just a misunderstanding hun but the school just called and said you missed the first and second period," Joey says and I freak out.

"Oh yeah, I woke up really late and missed those classes but I'm there already," I say turning off the radio and hoping he'd believe me.

There's a slight pause. "Mhhm well missy I can tell you're lying but I'm not mad just get to school before Daniel finds out okay?" Joey says and am immediately so grateful Joey got the call and not Daniel.

"Okay, I will sorry," I say.

"Alright get to it," Joey says and hangs up.

Once he hangs up a let out a relieved sigh and start my car and rush off to school. I arrive in 5 minutes and head to third period yay school. 

As I walk into my theater class I notice were having a sub and everyone's pretty much not in their assigned seat. I walk to the only seat available next to Harry Styles. 

Heres a little backstory that I have with Harry Styles. He is the school jock and every girl pretty much swoons over him with his amazingly perfect curly hair and green eyes. I'm not gonna lie he's probably got the most charm and is the hottest guy at our school. I remember in the 9th grade I developed a small crush on him but never told anyone. The only time I revealed anything was to Niall but that didn't end up well.

RECAP TO 9TH GRADE

As were in lunch Niall starts to tell me a hilarious story by the looks of it but I doze off. 

"So yeah I mean crazy right how did I even get those superpowers to save that girl from Egypt" Niall exclaims and I realize he was talking. I glance over and raise my eyebrows. 

"Oh yeah SO crazy," I say hoping it was realistic since I have no idea what he said.

"Are you freaking kidding me! You weren't listening to me the entire time seriously where are you right now," Niall says raising his voice slightly.

"No, what I was listening," I lie.

"Oh yeah because I obviously saved someone from Egypt. Come on you've been dozing off so much lately," Niall says while I'm clearly not listening. 

He follows my eyes to see what has my attention. I giggle watching Harry and all his jock friends playing football. It was as if he was moving in slow motion as he saw me and waved with his gorgeous smile. My goodness did that actually happen or did I imagine it.

"EARTH TO JULES," Niall screams and I jump realizing he was still here.

"Hmm," I say.

" NO NO NO Jules," Niall exclaims.

"What?" I ask.

"No no no you can't no god no Jules please!" Niall shouts.

"My god what!" I shout.

"You can't fall for Harry you just can't," Niall says.

"Huh, no one says I like Harry," I say defensively.

"Oh please, I saw those googly eyes you were basically drooling. Jules, he is one of the biggest players in the school he is like the worst guy. He only sleeps with girls and he'll just use you. Please Jules we can find someone else just don't," Niall pleads.
