Tirumala or tirumala back Devi was the senior wife and chief queen of Emperor Krishnadevaraya,who is considered to be the greatest ruler of the vijayanagara empire.
She was the most honoured wife of Krishnadevaraya and the mother of his heir apparent Prince Tirumala.
She accompanied Krishnadevaraya during his military campaign, including the kalinga war .
She was very much interested in poetry. She had her own Treasury her own female servants and she had complete Independence,she was also a great devotee and donar .
She bore Krishnadevaraya three children ; a daughter and two sons .
Her first two sons died early some sources said she bore one more son at the end called Ramachandra.
There is no information about legacy.
