Nolan's POV

I decided to sit with Shanice for a change cause she wanted me to sit with her and I thought why not cause its not like I have anyone to sit with.

Shanice was reading a science textbook I guess she really like that subject, I was looking at her admiring her features then her eyes turned away from the 5 cm thick book and looked at me

"You OK ? " she asked

"Oh yeah I'm fine" he responded

It was quiet for a bit but then I thought I'd break the silence

"Hey so why did you say all that stuff about you and I hanging out....like you know to Ethan and Gray....why don't you hang out with them?"

"Cause I thought it would be cooler if I hang out with you"

"Don't you want me to cause if you don't want me too I can leave" she continued

"No its fine its just no one really WANTS to hang out with me" I said emphasising the WANT

"Well I think your really cool" she said smiling

We continued to read the books and then the bell rang I didn't even realise we were in there for that long didn't feel like it

I got up out of my chair and looked at her as she did the same

"Well I have Recreation now I don't really like it " she says to me

"I have science"

"Well at least you got a better subject"she laughs making me smile a little

"Umm well I was thinking if I could have your number you know for this afternoon, cause I have need help with maths and I think you need help with science she says" I was a little shocked cause no one has ever asked for my number before

"Oh yeah sure, I guess and I'll umm meet up with you then after school" I say giving her my phone and getting nervous

"Sounds cool,its a little cute when you get nervous"she chuckles in a cute way

We both part out way I turn back as she walks away, I forgot to tell her Ethan is in that class but she was already to far away I guess she'll find out when she gets there.
