"Nolan wait" I ran after him

He kept walking then we stopped outside

"Did you mean all those things you said?" He asked with hurt in his eyes

"No,yes...only part of it but it means nothing cause I...I love you ...I love having you around and if I didn't meet you i don't know where i would be"

Nolan went to speak but a familiar voice cut him off

"That was a great speech" I knew who it was

"Let's go in the car now" I looked at Nolan he had hurt in his eyes

I turned around making way in to the car I looked towards the cafe door and noticed everyone were standing at the door

Ethan came out and told me not to get in the car

"Let's go Shanice " my father said
"Shanice don't " Ethan grabs my arm then dad grabs him

"Let go " my father spoke

"No,stay away from her"
Ethan pushed him and Dad punched him

"Dad stop.....lets go" I told dad cause I didn't want him to hurt Ethan anymore and I didn't want to befriends with any of them anymore cause I couldn't hurt them anymore

I walked in the car and i realized mum was sitting in the passenger seat. I jumped in the back soon followed by dad, we drove off.

The drove home was full of tension and I knew what was going to happen as soon as we go home

I ran out of the car and went to my room I was glad dad left the front door unlocked considering we didn't live to far away from the diner which is why I chose that one just to get home quicker but I guess that wasn't the issue. I slipped off my dress and changed in to comfortable clothing I could hear my mum and dad yelling at each other, I locked my door, grabbed clothing and shoved it in a bag, I stopped in my tracks cause I didn't want to leave mum alone cause who knows what might happen if I go. I sit on why bed wondering what to do. I grabbed my phone and texted Ethan

Ethan can you

I put down my phone down and waited only one thing crawled though my mind at the he moment ....Nolan

I could hear my dad stomping up the stairs and then knocks on my door I quickly shove my bag under my bed

"SHANICE DON'T OPEN THE DOOR" mum yelled out

I did as I was told I heard dad push mum I couldn't let this happen to her

I ran to my door and opened it
I pushed my dad
"Leave her alone" my dad hit the wall and I grabbed her and tried to bring her in the room but it was too late. He grabbed me and slapped me across the face

"Leave her alone" my mother screamed

I got up and he was more angry than ever

"Told you not to hang out with them"

"What's it matter to you" I spat back this time he punched me and my lip was bleeding he picked me up from the back of my neck

"Why don't you listen to your father"

I spat in his face

"You no father to me"
He let go and punched me again and again then mother pushed him, he than punched her

"DON'T YOU TOUCH HER" I screamed

He took my mother out of my room, I got up and went to follow them but he stopped me

"Stay here" he said point at the ground

I knew what he was about to do
He was going to beat her I don't want that to happen but I couldn't do anything and it made me angry

"Stay here baby"Mum said softly

We began to walk off with her
"NO" he pushed me I fell in the ground and then he locked the door from the other side I couldn't get out

"MUM....MUM" I screamed out and banged on the door

I went to my bathroom cause I didn't want to listen I locked my self in there but I could still hear her yelling out

I didn't call the cops cause last time I didn't dad lied then got angry beating me more than ever and then we moved away and now we're here.

It finally stopped I was thankful cause I couldn't bare it anymore.

I heard a knock on my window,I ran over to it and open it, it was Ethan
