~Camara~
I was still on the ground while a big ass gun was being pointed straight at my head. I couldn't believe I was going to die like this but maybe it was for the best. This cold cruel world was not meant for me anymore. The only person I truly loved was gone and the one that i fell for was a liar from the start. I sighed then looked up at the guy. There was fire in his eyes. He looked beyond irritated with me since I have yet to tell them the truth.
"You are really getting on my nerves right now. It's obvious you know the truth but you just want to be a smart ass and not tell the truth"
"I don't know anything. I keep telling you this..."
He shook his head then reached into his pocket and threw down a diamond ring. My eyes grew wider than the full moon itself. It was the ring Dauntrel gave to me when he proposed to me a year ago. I looked up at him and that's when he knew I was lying about not seeing anything. I picked up the ring and gripped it tight in my palm. I don't remember dropping this but it must've dropped while I was running for my life.
"Now are you going to tell the truth. Adarius already told us that it was your ring. You can't lie anymore you bitch!"
"I still don't know what you are talking about..." I countined to lie. I threw the ring across the floor.
"Are you fucking kidding me right now!" He raised the gun up and shot at the ceiling. Some pieces of plaster came faling down the ground. I coughed a bit because of the dust it made.
"Yo man, calm down with that gun! This is my mom's house"
"i don't give a damn Adarius. Either she tells the truth or I will have this whole entire ceiling collaspe down upon her. Better yet, i'll shoot her in her motherfucking heart" He said while pointing the gun back at me.
"Look...enough is enough. She said she doesn't know anything"
"She is lying you dumbass. "
"I don't believe she is..."
"So what are you saying....you lied to us about her?"
He paused for a moment before thinking to himself. He then looked up at the gang of guys and his leader who were staring him down like a hawk.
"Yes I was lying. I thought she was the bitch I saw but guess not.."
"Adarius, you will pay for this. You just better watch where you are going for now on. I got my eye on you little niqqa. You got into this gang easily, and I can easily take you out of it. Let's get out of this shit hole" He said while putting his gun away. He kicked me on the way out and the rest followed. When the door finally closed, I was bruised up.
"I'm so sorry Camara..." He said while standing in the same place. He didn't move from his spot and neither did I. I just sat there until I finally decided to get up. It hurt a little but not as bad. I turned to look at him and walked over to where he was. Adarius looked at me almost confused and I gave him a hug. I couldn't believe he did what he did but ended up protecting me in the end. He wrapped his arms around me lightly.
"After all that, you come over here to hug me, instead of slapping or throwing things at me?"
"Adarius, if you haven't noticed, I love you" Those words were just waiting to be said and he looked more than surprised. The only thing he could do at the moment was kiss me. I kissed him back and we were pratically making out for a while. I always wanted to say that to him and it felt good saying it to. I never thought I could fall in love again but I did. He pulled away from a minute and gave me a small smile.
"I love you too Camara. I love you more than anything. I just couldn't let anything happen to you right there. I felt so bad and broken up by the siutaion so I had to step in somehow"
"But why did you do it?"
"Out of fear. They were threatning to kill my mom's....I had to think of something fast. I don't know why you popped up in my mind but that's when I told them about you"
"I couldv'e been killed Adarius and it looked like you were going to sit there and watch"
"It was a difficult situation Camara. I love my mom's to death. I didn't want to lose her. She's all I got right now"
"You got me Adarius. I'm going to always be here by your side.."
"That's why I had to stop him before he could do anything. I didn't want to end up losing the girl I fell in love with"
"So....where do we stand right now?"
"You're my girlfriend that's where we stand. I want to be with you. You're beautiful, brave, smart and strong. You are everything I always wanted ina girl" He smiled and hugged me once more. I buried my head into his chest and some tears began to stream down my face. This was the moment I have been waiting for and it finally came true.

"Ayo Boss....I see Adarius and that Camara girl have made a connection" I said while talking to him on the phone. I was sent here to spy on that little fake ass wannabe gang member. He was never tough to begin with. He was as soft as a damn pillow.
"Looks like we have a special target now"
"Do you want me to kidnap her?"
"Not yet, but soon. Adarius will pay for lying to us. Now get your ass back here pronto"
"Ight. i'm coming " I said as I pressed the end call button on my phone. I put my phone into my pocket and began to climb down the ladder.
