"Nice shoes!" Mr. Kharish exclaimed as I walked into class and took a seat. "Thanks!" I replied back happily. It seemed as if he was looking at my shoes quite often. Finally I noticed something that I hadn't before. Mr. Kharish's shoes were big. Way too big. Plus there was a huge hole in it. How could I not have realized before? The next day as I walked into class, I did not take a seat, but I placed a bag on Mr. Kharish's desk. When he opened it, he found a smaller, nicer, and much newer pair of shoes.
