I screamed as the hooded figure continued to follow me. I ran into my room and slammed the door shut, locking it. Nothing could save me if that person broke down the door. I glanced at the clock; 8:29. "Hurry up!" I cried. "Please!" I heard a bang as a chunk of my door came flying at me. I dodged just in time, adrenaline heightening my nerves. Splintered wood flew everywhere. Finally I saw the man. Just as he lifted his axe, 8:30 came, sending me back to reality. I lived. Let's see if I can do better.
