Erika stumbled as she raced through the base, the ground rumbling beneath her feet. She stumbled again as the ground shook as she entered the hanger, falling onto her stomach with a grunt. She pushed herself up onto her hands and knees as sweat beaded her forehead. She looked back quickly, checking for the con that was after her, praying she had lost him.

"Holy snickers"

She started scrambling to her feet as the large cybertornian turned the corner she had come from just moments ago, the red optics landing on her quickly, a grin crossing his face.

"Why run, fleshy?"

He cocked the gun in his hand as he walked after her, watching the small female human start running again. He pointed the gun ahead of her and fired into the ground, blasting a large hole in it. Erika yelped as the force and debris hit her, knocking her onto her back gruffly. She gasped loudly as the air was knocked from her lungs and gripped her stomach as she rolled onto her side, trying to suck air back into her lungs. The con laughed as he walked forward, hovering above her as he looked her over with disgust.

"Such a pathetic weak race...fun to toy with at least"

He grinned lightly and moved the barrel of his gun to point down over her. He laid his digit over the trigger, the grin never leaving his sadistic features.

"Last words?"

Erika felt a rhythmic thumping vibrating through the concrete beneath her, the rattling well known to her. She rolled onto her back slowly, looking up at the con with her algae blue eyes, smiling softly.

"Snack sized"

The con paused, frowning in confusion as he stared down at her. Erika pointed down at the other hallway across from them. He raised his helm up and his optics widened at the sight of the huge dinobot charging down the hall heading straight for him.

"Frag!"

He stepped back quickly, raising his gun he got off a couple rounds into the dinosaurs chest, leaving nothing but scorch marks. Dread filled him and he turned to flee as the dinobot turned his head, opening his jaw wide. Grimlock connected with the con and slammed his mouth shut, his large teeth slicing into the cons body who let out a scream of pain before it was cut off as Grimlock bit down harder, the body snapping in two. The cons torso fell to the floor, green energon, blood, pooling out from him, his face frozen in shock. Grimlock lightly crunched on the legs in his mouth for good measure before tossing it across the room and turning. Erika climbed up from the floor with a soft grunt, smiling up the large bot as he walked over and lowered his head, pressing his snout into her stomach gently. Even though his gentle meant she staggered lightly.

"Good snack?"

He snorted softly in disgust at the thought of the con, rumbling softly as she stroked his head gently. The base shook as something smashed into the roof and she ducked, covering her head. Grimlock looked up quickly at the roof as it cracked and moved over her quickly, shielding her from the hunks of rock and metal that fell, the debris clunking off his form noisily.

"We have to find my dad!"

Erika touched the metal foot closest to her to let the dinobot know before she took off in a sprint. Grimlock followed behind quickly, a slow jog was all he needed to keep up with the tiny fleshling. She headed towards the entry of the hanger, soldiers firing at the cons as the few autobots at base fought them back outside. Grimlock moved forward, running over his small femme to clear the way as she raced out into the open to hunt for her father.

"Dad?!"

Erika looked around frantically as she moved behind a cons body, using it as shelter from flying bullets and debris. She spotted the base's leader and cupped a hand over her mouth to yell at him, the soldier on the other side of the hanger opening.
