Episode 13 - Confession

******AIDEN'S POV******

I was so confused when this girl suddenly just presented herself to me and niyakap niya ako. I honestly don't have a clue who she is. She does look like she's not from around here but who is she? This girl greeted me with kisses on the cheeks and nanlamig ako bigla, I'm pretty sure my eyes widened with full of surprise because of the act. I looked at Alex and I couldn't read her thoughts. Baby, I don't know what's happening; please don't misunderstand. I looked at the girl again and she may have read my mind that I was confused.

*******: Oh come on! Don't tell me you don't remember.. (she said why playing her hair with her finger.)

I examined her face and looked for clues that might help me remember her. Then I saw a mole that was on her temple and it reminded me of someone I know back when I was a teen many years ago but they looked different. But she was the only one I remembered having that feature, so I tried.

Aiden: Wait. Rachel?

Nagsmile ang babae.

What? This is Rachel? Wow she is so different it's impossible to recognize her! She used to have really black hair, pale skin who likes to wear eye make up that's mostly dark colored and she wasn't this skinny when I met her. She was also very shy.. But this lady in front of me is like totally a different one, she dyed her hair blonde, I can see she still likes to wear make up and obviously a lot of it. I even think there's some of it stuck on my cheeks when she came close. And she's so skinny now. She didn't look like the Rachel I know from before. Huh.

Aiden: Rachel Thomas! Wow, it's funny running into you like this. What are you doing here in the Phil?

Rachel: Finally you remembered! It started to hurt that you'd suddenly forget your first love. (She winked at me.)

Woah, hold your horses. What first love? Nah. I actually wanted to correct her but I just laughed it off, she was obviously making a joke.

Aiden: You're still funny.

Rachel: And you're still cute!

Ooops stop it Rach, I'm with someone right now. Don't go on flirting so obviously. I took a glance at Alex's direction and she has her poker face on that makes it so hard to read what's on her mind. I'd better do something.

Aiden: Hey Rach, I'd like you to meet Alex.

Alex: Hello (Alex smiled though it was half heartedly given. Uh oh. Don't get upset please.)

Rachel: Yeah, hi. (Rachel looked at Alex and just raised the corners of her mouth to smile for 1 second. I saw that, Rach. Careful.)

Aiden: Alex is my-- (Hindi ko man lang natapos pagpapakilala ko, nagsalita na si Rachel)

Rachel: So, where were you heading? Mind if I tag along? (Sabi niya ng may halong sobrang excitement)

Aiden: Uhh --( I looked at Alex who just looked at me back and then suddenly Rachel grabbed my arm, clung hers and started walking.)

Rachel: Come on! We've got loads to talk about! It's been years!!

Aiden: But--

Rachel: Have you noticed that I dyed my hair? Doesn't it look great on me? I know right?-

Aiden: Yeah, it's good on you.

Oh my God, she just won't shut up.

Rachel: Where are you after this? I'm staying at Microtel. You should make time to visit me tonight. You can even sleep over like old times. (She touched my arm seductively.)
