Here it is, the day we've been waiting for 4 years now. The world cup finally really starts for us, french people. Today, at 4:00 pm, in Porto Alegre, France will be facing Honduras for its first match in this world cup 2014.
I just woke up but I can already feel how excited I am by the big event waiting for us. We arrived in Porto Alegre yesterday morning so the players had been able to train on the stadium field in the afternoon. There is pressure, sure, we can feel it. But this is a good pressure. The players are ready to play, they can't wait for the match to start. They've been ready for a few months now, since France 3-0 Ukraine. This was the revelation. I'm sure they'll do great in this world cup.

On the way to the hotel restaurant to take my breakfast, I can hear laughs and people talking happily. Good mood seems to be there! Indeed, when I enter the restaurant room, I see that our dear Karim Benzema has put some music on his phone and everyone is having fun while eating.
" I see you're ready to run the world! " I exclaim, a smile covering my face.
" Sure we are! "
" What about you guys dance to warm up a bit? " I say.
" Tonight, after our victory, we'll make you a private show, don't worry. " Mamadou Sakho winks.
" I'm looking forward to it then! "
I take a plate, some fruits and bread and sit next to Mathieu Debuchy, Rio Mavuba, Mickaël Landreau, Yohan Cabaye and Lucas Digne.
" So Aslinn, excited? " asks Mickaël.
" More than ever! What about you? You're going to play your first match in a world cup. The world cup, do you realise?! "
" Not really. But I think I may pee in my pants tonight because I'll be too excited and stressed. " Mathieu laughs.
" I better buy you diapers then! " I wink.
" Guys, attention please, Erwan is gonna give us his instructions for the day! " Didier Deschamps exclaim clapping his hands after we've all finished our breakfast.
Erwan stands up at his sides.
" I need my assistant for that, please welcome the one and only ASLINN MARTIN! "
He had to do that, sure he had. Everyone in the room start clapping their hands and I have no choice but to stand up aswell next to Erwan and Didier.
" This morning, you will be able to see the physios and to relax. We eat at noon, all together. Then Aslinn will lead a small walk in the surroundings. We'll leave at 2:30 pm for the stadium. Any questions? " Erwan asks.
" There will be a lot of journalists following you today so I ask you to behave perfectly. " I add. " And enjoy! "
