Today was beach day, and since Rai had no clue before hand, we had to go shopping for a swim suit. Not that I minded. I wanted her to have a human experience this week. So I was willing to sit and wait in the dressing room so she could try them on. Right now we were at a mall and she was browsing. She kept looking at them but couldn't seem to decide on one.

"They're all so... revealing." She commented.

I nodded. "Yeah, not the most modest thing in the world." I noticed a sales associate. "Maybe there's something in the back. Hold on." I walked over to the woman and she looked at me.

"Hi, how can I help you?" She asked.

"Hi, I have my girlfriend here looking for a swim suit, can you help her?" She nodded and followed me over. She took one look at Rai and got super excited.

"So you're looking for a swim suit?" She was whisked away and I was told to wait in the dressing room. It took a while before she walked in with a pile of swimsuits and other things draping over her arm. She looked over at me nervously.

"Glad we came early?" I asked her with a grin.

She laughed. "Definitely."

If I ever wanted to have a montage, the one with Rai walking in and out with a number of swim suits be my choice. All of them were much more her style. On was even a more of a dress. However the one she really liked was a two piece which was high waisted and the straps crossed decorating her collar bone. She also really liked the veil cover which matched the dark green suit.

"It looks great." I encouraged. She smiled at me and walked back in to get dressed. "I'll be at the register."

"Alright." She replied. I went out to find her some sandals to wear. I didn't want her burning her feet. I found a great pair, there had a thin light brown sole and dark green straps that would fit perfectly. when she came out we paid for the whole thing.

"Thank you so much!" She had the bag with a smile and took my hand.

"I'm glad we found the right one." She gave me a kiss on the cheek and we went to our Uber. When we reached the beach We got dressed and I set up our stuff under the umbrella I had brought. She looked at the ocean nervously. "What's wrong?"

"Sharks." She said.

I smiled at her, "We can stay on the shallow side. They're too big to get us there." She still looked nervous, but nodded and clung to my arm. We walked to the edge of the water. "Ready?" I asked her. She nodded and we kept walking into the water.

"It's cold." she whined a bit.

"Won't be if we just-" I gestured to the water, " - dive in."

She stared at me. "No."

I smirked, knowing exactly what to do. I picked her up and started getting into the deeper water. She started kicking and punching, but once we were in the water she calmed down. When she came up for air she was laughing.

"Jerk!" She shouted with a huge smile.

I splashed her. "You can't go to the beach and not swim." I pointed out.

"I never learned to swim." She said.

"Then let me teach you." I offered.

The rest of the day was teaching her to swim, looking for shells and snacking. I was happy that she was enjoying herself. It was like she forgot she was an angel for a while. I couldn't forget. I was enjoying her now, but I knew that once this was over, I was just human and would never be able to share this with her again.

At the end of the day, we were set up to camp at the beach and were staying warm by the fire. She was leaning on my chest covered in a blanket. "Did you bring a radio?" She asked. I shook my head. "Oh. I was hoping to dance again."

I wrapped my arms around her. "On the beach?" I asked.

"Yeah. I always thought it would be fun." I looked at the sunset thinking about how to get a radio. Just then, the group next to us started playing their radio. I looked down at her, but she was already asleep. I moved her beach waves out of her face and let her rest. After being sure she was deep in sleep I brought her into the tent and Laid her on the air mattress kissing her forehead.

"Night Rai." I closed the tent and went to my own mattress.
