白い女王 | white queen

For the first time in a very long time, Yuki looked at the barrier that had kept her and Yuto hidden from the world, and how after she leaves this place will cease to exist. It will merely be a place they once called home.

"Are you sure about this, milady?" Yuto asked, looking at Saruhiko as well, filled with doubt.

"I'm sure. It's now or never, Yuto." She told him, "Saruhiko, lead the way."

Saruhiko nodded, walking out of the barrier, followed by Yuto, and finally, Yuki. She turned around to look at that small hut one more time, and smiled lightly.

"I just boiled hot water to make tea." She said, sounding a little sad as she smiled at her little piece of home for one last time.

Walking out, the sight disappeared from her view, and she saw green everywhere - trees, and grass, leaves from flowers that bloomed. It was the real world she didn't know she had missed.

"Let's go!" Saruhiko said, and they ran to where the Swords were, and this time, the fight was closer to Shizume, and it was far worse this time.

Yuki noticed something in the Blue King's Sword, and the thought hit her.

I'm late. She thought as she saw the specks falling from the floating metal in the sky. He was running out of time, and although it wasn't obvious, she noticed it.

"Fushimi!" A woman's voice cried out, sounding relieved to see the man appearing on the battlefield.

"Lieutenant!" He called out, "I'm sorry I'm late. Fushimi, ready."

He began fighting with the Green Clansmen and Yuki noticed how they were all in a tough situation. All of a sudden, red auras began coming out of nowhere and a Red Sword appeared in the sky.

"Anna." She said, knowing that she had a promise to keep with Mikoto.

"Yuto, help them fight the Greens!" Yuki ordered.

"But, what about you, milady?" He asked.

"I'll be fine. Go!" She assured him. As Yuto began fighting alongside the two clans against  the enemy clan, Yuki began searching for him, for Munakata Reisi.

She followed the direction which led to his Sword, but then she noticed he was fighting someone on the roof, and it was a close call on who would win.

What are you going to do, White Queen? Mikoto's voice suddenly filled her head.

"Munakata Reisi!" She called out, "Get off this building!"

The Blue King looked up, and saw the girl standing by the edge of the roof, looking below at the chaos caused by the Green King and his clansmen.

He's close. But I can't see him. She said, thinking about the Green King.

Turning to Reisi once more, she told him the same thing she did before, "Get off this building, please! If you want to live, go!"

Reisi suddenly jumped off the tall building with no struggle, and Yuki took a breath as she felt the breeze of the day coming to an end.

I am the White Queen, Sakamaki Yuki. I am connected to the past and present Kings, and as long as I am breathing, I will not allow the Dresden Slates to be toyed with, and I will not allow the Green King to cause harm to the other Kings!

In a blink of an eye, the sky turned completely white, and snow began falling to the ground, stopping everyone, and once the snowflakes touched the Green clansmen, they began to melt as if they had been poured with hot acid.

Saruhiko looked up, and saw Yuki on the edge of the roof, and he rushed over to her, wanting to know more of what had happened, and once he made his way to the top of the roof, a white Sword appeared in the sky, sparkling brightly and sharp as a sword can be.

That's impossible. An eighth King?! He thought.

Everybody watched in complete shock, taken aback by the beauty of the sword, as well as being confused on who she was. Anna watched the girl closely, and placed a marble in front of her eye, looking at her through the transparent red sphere.

"The White Queen." She said softly, somehow in astonishment.

Reisi, however, kept a calm composure, before Yuki had come down from the building to greet him.

"Fourth King, Munakata Reiji, wielder of the Blue Sword. It's a pleasure to meet you at last." She said with a polite tone and kept her smile.

"The White Queen. I didn't think you would come. I didn't think you were real." He told her, and the statement made her laugh a little.

"Well, only a few Kings know of me. You and the late Mikoto were not the ones in the know, but it was because I had wanted it to be that way." She stated, "I have important things I need to discuss with you, I assume you know what they are."

"Shall we continued this conversation back at the home base?" He suggested, and she agreed.

"What the hell is going on?!" Yata from HOMRA shouted, clearly not knowing anything at all, "Who is this chick all of a sudden and why hasn't she been fighting this entire time?! We all could've saved a lot of time!"

"Shut up, Misaki!" Saruhiko told him, clearly this time, not a single humourous tint to the tone of his voice.

"I am Sakamaki Yuki, The White Queen." She declared, and Reisi held out his hand, waiting to meet hers. As her hand met his, she noticed the mark on her wrist, and her eyes went wide.
