Bella's POV
I will love you till the end of time. I sang along to Lana as I put on my diamond earrings. It had been three days since I was shot and I was back and better. I don't think I had laid in bed for three days in my whole life. I was ready to go mad.
I had all my business meetings set for today. Tony was first. It was time to see how our first shipment together went. We were meeting at his mansion. I sprayed on some perfume, put on my heels, and scrunched up my curls a little with my hand.
I had on red skinny jeans with a black belt, a white t-shirt, and shiny black heels. It felt nice having skin covered for once, especially after a bullet blasted through my bare arm. It was silly, but true.
I applied some red lipstick to complete the look and grabbed a pair of simple black ray ban sunglasses before heading out the door.
I got into my new, completely bulletproof, glittering black Caddy that Pisano had prepared for me when I was out. It was gorgeous. I would have to thank him again later.
An Hour Later
"Hello, Boss. Wonderful to see you. You look beautiful as always." Tony greeted me, flirting as usual.
I had decided something while I was out. No more of this romance with Tony Montana. I had a trillion dollar business to take care of. Things to focus on. I just couldn't do it. He did take care of me, though, I wouldn't forget that. But I wasn't a single woman. I was dedicated to my business.
"Hello, Antonio. Thank you." I replied simply. He put his hand on the small of my back and led me into his mansion. I honestly almost gasped. It was beautiful. Brilliantly red with artwork on the walls and a pool in the foyer with a sign that read The World Is Yours. I liked that phrase.
"Have to admit I'm impressed, Tony. Lovely place you have here." I told him. He smiled wide.
"I very glad you like it." He said and I could sense a double meaning behind his words.
We headed upstairs to his office and it was very nice as well. He sat down in his big chair and I sat down in front of his desk.
"So. Everything went smoothly, of course. Nothing lost and no complications. Me and Manny made sure of it." He told me, in a new kind of serious business tone. I liked it. He took his business seriously. He had also become filthy rich since Frank was gone, and a lot of the competition was also gone since I took out a lot of men in connection to Frank and Tommy.
I knew that he had a big deal with a man named Alejandro Sosa. I knew about Sosa of course, and he was definitely a tender. Insanely rich, he produced more cocaine than anyone other than me.
"That is very good, Tony. I'm glad to hear." I told him.
"I got something to ask you about, Boss. I got a partner named Alex Sosa-" speak of the devil, I thought to myself.
"Very important man, produces a serious amount of yeyo." He continued. "And he wants to meet you." Tony finished.
"Fuck no." I replied without hesitation. I already knew what Sosa would want with me. A business partnership. Being locked in with him. He could get the fuck on. He knew who I was and that I was bigger and stronger, and wanted to try and get a piece of it.
"Well fuck," Tony chuckled. "Why the hell not?" He asked, amused.
"I know of Sosa. And I know that all he could possibly want to meet me for is to get a piece of my business. My business that happens to be bigger than his. Therefore, no." I explained.
"Well alright." He replied. "I get that. What you want me to tell him?"
I smiled. "Tell him I said no. He won't do anything about it." I said.
"And what makes you sure of that?" He asked.
"Because he knows I got more than three times the muscle." I answered matter-of-factly. Tony grinned.
"You are somethin' else." He shook his head.
"Well. I'm glad everything went well, and if you'll excuse me, I got a lot of more business to do." I told him.
He stood up from his desk and I stood up as well. "I'll walk you out." He said, walking away before I could say no.
We reached my car and we both stopped. "I glad we doing business together." Tony said softly. I hadn't really realized until now that his eyes were green as they glittered in the afternoon sunlight.
"I am as well." I replied. He glanced at my injured arm that was bandaged up beneath my sleeve. "How is your arm?" He asked.
"Better. Thank you again for what you did. You didn't have to but you did anyway. There aren't many solid men anymore." I said and unlocked my door and carefully got in. I shut it and rolled down my windows, starting the engine. I then put my sunglasses on and lit up a cigarette.
Tony leaned into my window and I sighed. "What are you doing tonight? Go to dinner with me." He said.
"Tony, listen. I am the head of a trillion dollar business. I kill men, I have meetings all day everyday, I'm not a single woman. I haven't been since.." I stopped myself.
"I just haven't been one for a long time, okay?" I told him. He smiled and I stared at him, confused as to why.
"Alright, Boss." He replied, grinning.
"Why are you smiling?" I asked.
"Cause I always get what I want." And with that, he leaned off my car and walked away.
