''Are you kidding me?'' I coax after a long minute of silence. I brush my hair from my, dirty, scratches and worried face.
''No, do I need to repeat the answer?'' He confirmed. I stare at him with disgust before he can react I jump back ''Never!" I shout loudly and run out of the hall. I catch the thin dirt road through the forest. I ran fast over it, lifting the leaves and the dust, hoping to find the ranch soon. I look around but nothing was familiar. I feel like this is an unknown path, that I crossed, but I need to and have a reason, which is pulling me to the right path.
Before I could look back I hear a scream.
''Tess!"

Tessa's POV
Allison hands the reins, with surprise I grab them. ''Tess, get her and Hugo to safe, go back to the ranch,'' She informs me and I take a deep breath before literally arguing with her ''But-''. ''Go!" She shouts and I nod my head, I lead Kira to Hugo and grab a long, flexible rope from the saddle bag. I tie it around Kira's neck and attach it to the saddle horn of my horse. I mount him and he prances in place. I glance at Allison last time and she nods her head, I press my heels to Hugo's sides and ride away.
I stare at the road and sometimes even look back at Kira. I try to spot the ranch but it is not familiar, the path I'm going. Leaves shuffle and I dismount, like people walking.
''Show yourselves!'' I shriek. The footsteps sound closer and I hear a whiney from behind. I turn around but a person presses something against my nose, furthermore, I scream but it all blacks out.
