Would you believe me if I say, once upon a time there lived an eight grader girl who cried to god not because she did not get food , not because she did not have clothes , not because she did not have a family , not because she was differently abled .........but because she had a dark skin and wanted a fair skin , she wanted to look better in the eyes of the racist society she was born in. The society which said " oh if only she had her brother's complexion " , kept on giving her mother tips to make her skin fairer....and of course lovelier and made her want to change the girl she saw on the mirror........who am I kidding you would of course believe me when you live in the same society as me. , Indian???
Well the girl is now about twenty and decided to write something through her wattpad account , to start with she no more cries about her skin.
There was a time she used different beauty products to look fairer but now she has 2 pahacks of fair n lovely cream in her house that some one has given her , but doesn't exactly even know where it is because she understood there are things more important than having a fairer skin . She knows that having a fair skin would increase her demand in the marriage market but she believes an educated mind is more important to have a beautiful married life . She knows that applying the foundation and make up everywhere she go would make 'some' guys want her but she decided to have friends who would help her excel intellectually as a social animal rather than as a show piece and decided to not be a regular user and addict to the things that claimed to make her beautiful . She knows that she looks the darkest in her tour photo but hasn't yet downloaded b612 in her phone because that eight grader grew to be a lady who loves her skin and she decided to question you.......
she is asking.......
Do you love your skin?
why or why not?
Are you a slave of the society in which millions open their moth but only a few speak?
when was the last time you looked at the mirror and enjoyed the way you look?
would you agree with me if I say using fairness products might decrease your confidence thus murdering your social life?D
O YOU DARE TO SAY "yes , I love my skin colour and I am beautiful💜💜💜"!!!!
