"I am glad that I could find you"

"I am glad that you kept my slippers"

The newly wedded couple gazed into each other's eyes, under the starry night sky. Prince Jonathan could not distinguish between the twinkling stars and his wife's shining eyes. He had fallen hard for the beauty in front of him.

"But why did you run away at the night of the grand ball?"

It was the question that Cinderella dreaded the most. She did not want him to know the secret behind her runaway. She would not have run away if he hadn't held the grand ball at a full moon night.

She took her beloved husband's hand in hers. She moved her thumb delicately over his wedding ring.

"I have something to tell you"

"You are not having another affair, do you?"

"No, No..."

She bit her lower lip and looked into his brown eyes.

"I...I...I will show you." She slowly raised her skirt till it reached her knees.

He gasped at her hairy calf as she looked helplessly at him.

"I did not see that when I was making you wear the slippers" He frowned.

"That was at day time and now..." She darted her eyes towards the night sky.

"So you are a werewolf"

"I cannot hide it for long, today or tomorrow, you will know it... So yes"

Jonathan moved his head from side to side and pulled his hair. He massaged his temples as he looked at her calf.

"This can't be happening to me, No... No... No"

She released her hold on the skirt and moved to her husband. She tried to calm him down by keeping her hand on his shoulder but he brushed it off. His eyes and face became red.

"Guards, " He shouted at top of his voice "Take her to a cell."

Cinderella looked at her husband with teary eyes. She should have believed her werewolf godmother.

"Cinderella, he might love you as a human but once he finds out that you are a werewolf, you might face the same fate as of your mother" Lucy, her godmother, had warned her.

Her mother was a werewolf. Her father did not know about it at the time of their marriage and her mother did not know that he was a vampire. Her father killed her mother once he came to know about her true identity. Her stepmother helped him to kill her and drink the werewolf blood. Her stepmother had always wanted to kill her too but her father always had a soft spot for her, after all, she was his only daughter.

Alice and Alicia, her step-sisters were pure vampires and thus they were stronger than her, the product of forbidden love, but she knew that she was stronger than Jonathan so she had affirmed Lucy that her fate will never be the same as her mother's.

She did not waste any time. She lunged towards him and bit him on his calf. He screamed in pain as she ran away.

"He will become a werewolf in a month and then we will live together forever," She thought.

Little did she know about the mad scientist named Jonathan. The scientist who had already overcome a hundred werewolf bites when he captured them and did experiments on them. He smirked as his guards, electrocuted her and she fell on the ground.

He held the bite on his calf and limped towards her. He leaned down and took the ring from her finger.

"Maybe I should have directly gone for that girl in the forest rather than holding a ball to find my match, what was her name?" He looked at one of the guards.

"Snow white, sir"

"Yeah, Snow white Jonathan, sounds cool, isn't it? lab werewolf no. 122" He whispered into her ear as she slowly lost her consciousness.
