Ember Tamsette is the prestigious daughter of one of the biggest politicians in Brooklyn, New York. She lives alone and spends most of her days either at work or at home, cuddling with her furry Persian feline companion, Sera, and watching movies.

Ember finds herself to be extravagantly normal as she shuns the burden-heavy lifestyle of her father except for one tiny little minuscule detail. She passionately avoids men as if they were literally the plague. She has absolutely no time for something as meaningless as dating and she can't help but feel that love, in general, is a waste of her time. And in her support of the pursuit of that lifestyle, she purchased herself a neat little playtoy by the name of Emmanuel to keep her physical human needs managed.

And that was working very well for her until the moment that a cheeky idiot covered in spray paint quite literally crashed through her bedroom window and not only broke but also impersonated her favourite toy.

The universe definitely has an odd sense of humour.
