Soo Ji's POV
I was just enjoying my sleeping time when my mom entered my room and sat next to me on the bed.
"Soo Ji-ah...I have to tell you something.." My mom sounded like she was nervous to tell me.
My mom is a doctor. She divorced my dad last year and I live with her. Lately, she has been a workaholic.
"I-never mind..it's not the right time yet.." She sighed as she stood up and left my room without a word.
"That was weird," I said to myself.
Woojin's POV
"What is it that you've called me dad?" I asked my dad who was sitting at the large, comfy sofa.
"Look at this," he said coldly as he handed me a paper without looking at me.
I opened the folded paper to see that I didn't pass my tests.
"I don't know what to say. I'm kicking you out of this house and you'll live alone. Secretary Somi will be your guide. If she calls, never ask questions and just do whatever she tells you to do," he said.
"I've had enough of your trash dad. You don't need to kick me out. I've never enjoyed your presence," I said smirking.
"That's good then. You've always been a disgrace to this family," he said before I left him on the living room, upstairs towards my room.
Before I enter my room, I stopped. Looking at the wall that has a picture of me and my mom.
My hands curled up into a ball and I started sobbing quietly.
Mom...if only you were here....
