Woojin's POV
I'm currently sitting down at the edge of the swimming pool, thinking again about what I said earlier.
How I wish I could just take away those words.
Flashback
I was helping Ji Yeon in the retirement house, wiping the window.
"Here let me help you," I said.
"I'm wondering, why a lot of people have fallen for you," she said and I chuckled at her response.
"You're next though," I teased and she punched my left arm.
"Well, I might fall for you," she sighed.
"A-are you sure?" I asked her with a stuttering voice.
"Does it sound like I'm joking?" She asked seriously and faced me.
I mumbled a sigh and turned to face her. My eyes turned serious too.
"Are you sure you won't regret liking me?" I asked her and she became quiet.
"Don't ever regret choosing to fall for me, Ji Yeon. What if you're hurt? Hurt by me?"
I heard her sigh as she turned around and walked away.
End of Flashback
I let my sitting position lose balance as I fall into the water.
Where I wished, I can turn back time. I've hurt you, Ji Yeon. I bet you're regretting already.
Ji Yeon's POV
I decided to go to the swimming pool to clear my mind. I've been embarrassed enough.
I walked inside the swimming pool through the stairs. I decided to walk to the other side of the swimming pool but someone grabbed my hand.
He turned me around as I sighed.
"Ji Yeon," Woojin said sternly. I pulled my hand from his grip.
"Let me explain," he said.
"You have 3 minutes," I said with a cold face, refusing to make eye contact.
"I-i, I don't know what got into me earlier. I'm sorry. But what I said was true. People like me. Soo Ji, and Ji Hun are forced. My dad is marrying Soo Ji's mom and it'll make us step-siblings. If we only had a chance, me and Soo Ji wouldn't want to be siblings. Why? I can't tell you. I guess I got harsh. I'm sorry about earlier," he explained.
"Hmm," was all that came out of my mouth.
"Come on, put a smile on your face. Want to see the stars? Meet me there at the roof top okay?" He said before leaving.
Soon after he left, I sat at the edge of the pool until Soo Ji came.
"Hey," she said as she sat beside me.
"I'm sorry about Woojin earlier. But there's something you have to know," she said.
"I don't want to know," I said.
"You sure? It's something important," she said.
"What is it then?"
"Me and Woojin's parent are g-" I cut her off.
"I know it already," I said with a cold voice.
"Let's move to the next topic then. Do you know everything about our friendship from Woojin?"
"He never tells me."
"Well then, I guess this one, you'll have to know."
"What do I have to know?"
"Me and Woojin, likes each other," she smirked.
I quickly put on my robe and left the swimming pool.
Then was the kiss all for nothing?
