Third Person

Ji Yeon was getting ready for her first day of college when she got a call. She picked it up without knowing who the caller's ID was.

"Hello?"

"Is this Ms. Ji Yeon?"

"Yes."

"Please visit Seoul National University Hospital. Your boyfriend blacked out yesterday at the bar," the caller said.

"I think you got the wrong person. I don't have a boyfriend."

"But we checked his phone."

"I don't have a boyfriend but I know who will be his soon to be step sister. Try to go to his contact name and search 'Cho Soo Ji.'"

"Ah, we found it. Thank you and we're sorry for disturbing and also for the misunderstanding!"

She directly hung up the call and took her bag. She didn't care about the hospital matter since she doesn't even have a boyfriend. All she cared was about to not miss her first day of college.

Ji Yeon went out of her apartment and stood in place as she stared at Woojin's door. She's still mad at him but she feels guilty for being angry and shutting him up. She decided to write a letter and stick it to his door.

Ji Yeon walked towards the elevator and went to her college.

Meanwhile, Woojin is lying unconscious in the hospital bed. He had woken up but he still haven't regain back his memories from what happened the night before. He sat up as his head started to feel pain.

"AGH!" He yelled once he hold his head.

"Oh my! He's awake!" Woojin heard the nurse said. The nurse came closer to Woojin and had him a check up.

"You're okay but I think for now, take some more rest. I've called your sister and she'll come here soon," the nurse said.

"How'd you know?" Woojin asked.

"Oh, we recently contacted a girl. We thought she was your girlfriend but it turned out wrong. So she told me the name and phone number of your sister," the nurse said. The nurse didn't dare to say that she searched through Woojin's contact number but she had too.

"Oh, who's the girl's name?" Woojin asked out of curiosity.

"I'm sorry, I didn't asked for her name," the nurse replied as she wrote something on the paper that is attached on the clipboard. And again, she lied.

"Here, this is the phone number of that girl," the nurse said as she handed the paper to Woojin.

"I'll be going now. If you need anything, just press this number," the nurse said as she left Woojin's ward.

Woojin couldn't be more curious. He decided to check his phone which was lying next to him. The number seemed familiar. Then he realised, that it was Ji Yeon's number.

Once he remembered about Ji Yeon,  memories from last night rushed through his mind.

"N-no...BAE JINYOUNG!" Woojin yelled in frustration.

While on the other side, Jinyoung was also in frustration.

"Why did I, acted as if I never knew Woojin on the first place, Ji Yeon?" He asked himself.

He sat down with his back resting on the wall and had his head hung low. He then took out his phone and decided to delete Ji Yeon's number.

"I'm sorry," he said as a tear escaped. He wanted to run away from this matter. He wanted to act and never remembered. Their friendship was broken just because of his stupid behaviour.
