Ji Yeon's POV

I was walking in pain due to my bleeding elbow and knee.

"Why did you forgot my birthday?" I asked my mom.

"Ji Yeon-ah, I'm sorry," my mom said as she touched my left shoulder.

"Don't touch me! You've abandoned dad and basically used him! What kind of mother doesn't even remember her own daughter's birthday?!" To the point tears started to form in my eyes.

"Ji Yeon, calm down," my aunt said as she approaches me.

I didn't reply my aunt anything. Instead, I just gave my mom a disapproving and disappointed look before leaving.

I arrived back at my apartment and treated my wounds. I changed myself into pyjamas and took out a novel I was reading. I laid in my bed and spend the time I could before sleeping with reading.

Why did she even send me a birthday cake 2 months after my birthday?

Why is she always coming my way?

Ugh! I hate her!

I'll just hope my legs won't hurt that much tomorrow!

Woojin's POV

"How could you just hit her like that?!" Soo Ji yelled.

"It wasn't my fault!"

"It is! Ji Yeon is our next target. You, Woojin, will be our ACE for this mission. Make her fall in love with you, and then dump her." Soo Ji said as she pointed the bulletin board filled with Ji Yeon's datas.

"What's our goal for this?"

"Her mom knows your father. There's more reason but I'm not sharing them to you all now," Soo Ji said simply before leaving our hideout.

"Don't forget Woojin! You can't escape from this!" She yelled from the other side of the door.

"What're you gonna do?" Ji Hun asked.

"Do what Soo Ji asked me to do of course, duh," I said as I rolled my eyes.

"I have a plan coming in mind," I said as I sat down on the sofa.

"You better work this out. Soo Ji is counting on you. We may not know her plan yet, but we don't want to let her down yet." Ji Hun said and I just hummed in response.
