Mr. Dawson smiles at Joey "oh really? Who's the lucky guy?" The front door opens as Daniel enters, Joey smiles widely and points. "Him?" Joey nods excitedly, running over to his crush with a huge smile on his face. "Hey Joey!" Daniel pulls him in for a hug "I'll be in the cafe okay?" Daniel kisses the top of Joey's head before they separate. Joey's boss follows him to the cash register "Joey, I know I have no business in your love life but are you sure you can trust him?" Joey nods, a huge grin on his face "I'm sure. He's been so nice to me over these past few weeks, he has most definitely made up for most of what he's done to me." Looking over at the cafe, Joey smiles dreamily towards Daniel. "Are you ever going to tell him?" Shaking his head, Joey types "not now, I have to work."

While Joey was working, Mr. Dawson decided to have a little talk with Daniel. Sitting across from the boy, Mr. Dawson clears his throat. Shuffling nervously under the man's gaze, Daniel looks at his feet. "Hello, Sir." "What are your intentions with Joey?" Looking up at Mr. Dawson, Daniel sighs with a smile "I know we didn't get off on the right foot, but he has become my world. Joey means everything to me, I always felt that way but I was so scared. In fact, that day in the cafe, I was going to tell him that I really liked him. But I was so deep in the closet, I was blind. Now that Joey has given me a second chance, there is no way in hell I'm going to mess this up." Mr. Dawson was amazed "you really care about Joey don't you?" Daniel nods "definitely. I know for sure that I'm falling in love with him."

Hours later, Joey finishes his work and goes to the cafe. Daniel is still waiting for him, looking over his shoulder for him. Sitting across from his crush, Joey starts blushing madly. "Why are you blushing cutie?" Joey takes out his phone, somehow being able to type while his hands shake.  "Can we go for a walk? I know it's late but there's a park nearby and..." Daniel nods, standing up and extending his hand "shall we go?"

As Joey and Daniel were walking, Joey fought the urge to hold Daniel's hand. "So why did you want to go on this walk? You know you can tell me anything, we could've just stayed at the cafe." "My boss was staring at us the whole time. I wanted to take us someplace where we're not being watched. Plus, I have something I need to tell you." Daniel didn't reply, just walked beside Joey, his mind lingering over what Joey's going to tell him. Entering the park, Joey and Daniel sit under a lamppost. "Before you start typing, I want to tell you something." Joey nods, his eyes meeting Daniel's. "We didn't get the best of starts, hell, you thought I hated you. Hell, I thought I hated you. But when I first started getting to know you, I began to fall for you. I never thought you were a nuisance or anything like that when I first met you. Even though you believe that your lack of speech is a bother, it never was for me.

"Those people I was hanging out with, I never agreed with. I have no good excuse as to why I joined along with them when they'd pick on you. Maybe it was because I was trying to fight the feeling of affection toward you. Maybe because I was in the closet. Now that I'm out to everyone, there's only one person I want to be with. And that person is the boy sitting in front of me." Joey was amazed, not expecting Daniel to admit to anything like this. Joey holds back from kissing Daniel's cheek as he types. "What are you saying? Do you..." Daniel nods, leaning over to Joey. "I love you, Joey Graceffa." Smiling, Joey types quickly "I love you too, Daniel Preda."

As they're walking back, they were holding hands and smiling. Everything was perfect now. But they didn't know what was to come.

Because everything can't be perfect forever...
