"You didn't kill her Laksh. It was an accident. " Sujata says as she placed her hand on Laksh's shoulder. "One year, Laksh, one year, she is gone now. You need to move on." Laksh walks away from Sujata and looks out the window from their penthouse...
Laksh Maheshwari sat in his living room playing the grand piano. In front of him, his Swara danced and hummed a song along with him. Laksh continued playing passionately, pressing each key and watched the love of his life. She twirled around, as Laksh felt her hands wrap around his shoulder. He could feel his and her heartbeat sync into one.
"I love you," Swara said as she kissed Laksh on the cheek. This was the day Swara expressed her love for Laksh. Laksh got up from his piano bench and turned toward Swara.
"What did you say Swara?" Laksh asked again surprised.
"I love you," Swara whispered as she tiptoed up enough to reach Laksh's lips. She softly brushed her lips against Laksh's lips. Laksh picked up Swara and twirled her around in the air.
"Swara you made me the luckiest man today," Laksh said as he twirled his Swara in the air. Swara raised her hand up as she swirled around. Laksh and Swara, forever she thought. She looked down at Laksh's face as his eyes twinkled. Then she looked around and saw how high she was.
"Laksh, please put me down before you drop me." Swara said now a bit scared.

"Drop you never. I will hold you up forever." Laksh said as he laughed seeing his Swara nervous.
"Please Laksh, I am scared of height," Swara said and that's when Laksh lost his balance and Swara fell out of Laksh's hand to the ground.
"Swara!" Laksh screamed.

"Swara!" Laksh screamed as he woke up. Sweat was running across his face. Laksh threw away the blanket off of him and got off from the bed. It was his fault that Swara was no longer in his life. That's when Laksh heard Swara's voice coming from downstairs. Laksh ran out of his room and followed the voice of Swara. Laksh reached downstairs and opened the back door to the gardens. The first think Laksh felt was a drop of a snowflake on his forehead. He looked up as thousands of particles of snowflakes touched his face then melted away. Then he heard his Swara sing again. But it wasn't Swara, it was Ragini; Swara's sister.
Ragini was twirling around as a shower of snowflakes fell on top of her. She lived life as if she had nothing else to lose. Laksh walked towards Ragini and Ragini stopped twirling hearing Laksh's footsteps.
"Angel, are you up already?" Ragini asked turning toward where Laksh's footstep was coming from. Laksh walked toward Ragini as Ragini continued smiling. Ragini called Laksh her angel. The angel that her Swara di sent her. Laksh went along with it if that made Ragini happy then that will make his Swara happy. Who could have thought because of that one promise Laksh would be living in isolation away from all his fame.
It was only a month ago that he had met Ragini at Misha and Kabir's wedding reception. At that moment unknowingly Laksh followed Ragini's... no Swara's voice to Ragini. Laksh still felt he was guided to Ragini because of Swara and due to Swara he will forever take care of Ragini. However, Mother Candas and Misha didn't allow Ragini to go with Laksh. Both of them blame Laksh for Swara's death and Laksh blamed himself. Instead, Laksh decided to stay at a cottage near the orphanage, that way he can look after Ragini. As promised to be allowed to be near Ragini, he still hasn't told Ragini about Swara's death. Laksh stared at Ragini as she played in the snow around her. That's when his Swara ran up to him in a red sare then twirled away.
