"Swara! Swara!" Laksh Maheshwari called out as he got out of his car in front of his house. He took out some shopping bags in his hand and closed the car door. Laksh was about to turn around with the bags when a pair of small hands hugged around his leg.
"Baba." A little voice came from behind him. Laksh smiled and turned. "Did you bring the ice cream for me." He bends down and hugged a small little girl with curly hair. The little girl was carrying a teddy bear in her hand. She dropped her bear as Laksh kissed her on the cheek then picked her up and placed her on top of the car.

"Swara, I did bring the ice cream, but it's not for you." Laksh said as the little girl folded her hands and made a grumpy face. Laksh smiled. He took out an ice cream bar from one of the shopping bags and handed it to the little girl. Swara hugged Laksh and slid down from top of the car. She picked her teddy bear and ran inside the house.
"Swara. Swara." Laksh called behind the little girl. The little girl ran into the house and jumped into the lap of a woman. The woman was no one else but Ragini. Laksh came behind them and hugged them both.
"Look mama, baba gave me ice-cream." Little Swara said as she held out the choco bar icecream. Ragini smiled, even though Ragini could see a little bit since her eye operation a year ago, things were still blurry to her.
"Hum.. and mine" Ragini said waiting for Laksh to hand her an ice cream bar. Laksh pulled out an ice-cream bar from the shopping bar, however before Ragini could take it he held his cheek out so Ragini could kiss it. Ragini blushed then kissed Laksh. Swara made a face like yuck.
"Eww, mama got cooties." Swara said as she jumped off Ragini's lap and ran out the room. Laksh and Ragini laughed as they saw little Swara ran off. Ragini opened to ice cream bar and started eating it. Laksh sat on the floor and placed his hand on Ragini's stomach. A small baby bump could be noticed. Laksh and Ragini looked at one another and smiled.

The song, no, not just the song. That voice. Laksh and Ragini looked at one another as they heard the music coming from the other room. They both got up and went to see.

Little Swara's eyes lit up.
"Promise, that my music would be beautiful as her." Little Swara asked. Ragini and Laksh looked at one another.
"Hamara Sur promise." Laksh and Ragini said. All three hug one another as one chapter of their life ends and for another to begin.
