It's day two of being here In California and I remember having a close friend here before I moved at the age of 7 I still have her number idk if it will work her name is Nicole Evola she is Italian and she lived here her whole life. I Remember the last time we hugged before I moved to japan that was the last time I saw her
I looked at the peice of paper with the number and then looked at my phone, I repeated that a few times and I took a few breaths then said "Ok I can do this."
(BTW it is morning and everyone is asleep!)
*beeping noises*
"Hello this Nicole, may I ask who is calling?"
"Nicole...it's me Miyamoto! Don't you remember?"
"That sounds familiar...hmm"
I heard Nicole say my name over and over
"Miyamoto ... Miyamoto .... Miyamoto....*snaps fingers* Kiyomi?"
"YEAH I can't believe you remember me!"
"OMG Kiyomi I missed you haven't seen you in like forever! How is japan is the language easy can't you speak it fluently?"
"YEAH! but I'm am visiting for fall break."
"WAIT...SO YOU'RE HERE!!!!"
"Yeah do you still live in Anaheim?"
"Yeah in a little apartment."
"OMG Nicole we have got to meet up how about....lunch and a movie ? I know it's short notice but we are so close plus I have my friends with me from japan."
"Sounds cool ok see ya later."
"Ugghnn Kyomi who are you talking to?" Hideyoshi said in his pajamas rubbing his eyes." "An old friend of mine she is meeting us at A lunch place and then going to a movie today!" I said with a big smile "is she Japanese?" "No, sorry she doesn't even know the language." "It will kinda hard talking to her don't you think?" "Yeah but I can translate I'm fine with it."
"Hey Akihisa what you doing?" I said "Just you know texting my sister she is so protective." "You have a sister?" "Yeah but If I introduce you into her she will think your a guy." At that moment I got a text from Nicole.
Phones style :)
Nicole: Hey Kiyomi I was wondering if we are gonna see a movie and your friends only know japanese ....then how will that work out?
Me:aw man I didn't think of that maybe we can .... UHHH IDK
Nicole: maybe we can just hang at your hotel and I'm bringing my boyfriend Jerome is that ok?
Kiyomi:OH YEAH I forgot I have a boyfriend too maybe I guess we were so into catching up I forgot to mention him so can't wait to see you later bye
Nicole:bye :P
No more phone style :(
"Hey Hemeji umm we are friends right." "Kiyomi where is this coming from?" "I was curious...do you have a love like a crush?" "U.....ummm Kiyomi I will tell you if you keep it a sercret." "I have never told a sercret tell me!" She leans over and....whispers in my ear "I have had a crush on Aki ever since I knew him I have just been so shy." "Hemeji don't worry the secret is locked." She smiled "thank you."
We arrived at this Italian place and I saw Nicole and her bf Jerome, I literally squeezed her half to death
"NICOLE OMG YOUR SO BIG OMG I HAVE MISSED YOU SO SO MUCH!!!" "Thanks Kiyomi but you're gonna kill me." "Oh, sorry and this must be Jerome am I correct?" "Nice to meet you!" Jerome said "oh yeah let me call my boyfriend!" "HIDEYOSHI COME HERE AND ALSO YOU OTHER GUYS!!!" "Woah you're so good at Japanese." I turned around "Nicole ....I Am japanese !!" "Anyways...this is Hideyoshi my boyfriend" I said with a smile "Kiyomi you don't have to lie you could've just said "I'm gay" I would've understood." "No he has a twin sister Yuuko but trust me he is a guy" when I said that I heard Aki say "hey Hideyoshi I think she is talking about your sister." "No really I didn't know thanks for telling me." Hideyoshi said sarcastically.
I introduced My friends to Nicole and Jerome and they were struggling pronouncing there names
"And last but not least this is kouta he has a camera for a reason it's to take pictures of ummm things.." Then Aki asked me to ask Nicole "so how is it living in California?" "It's really nice the weather is amazeballs."
Ooohhhh Nicole lol
Then I translated this and this a basically what I was doing translating and talking then once we were done eating and translating we all went bak to the hotel Nicole and Jerome joined us
"Woah Kiyomi this is a big hotel how much was this."
"I actually don't know my parents paid for it." Then Jerome got a good idea "how about we go to the beach it's about 30 minutes away?" "Umm sure sounds fun I'll tell them to get ready!"
Me and hideyoshi were walking on the beach holding hands but I was a little embarrassed he wasn't aloud to be shirtless he had to wear a bikini top.
"Hideyoshi I got a question" "yeah what is it?" "What did you see in me like how can you fall in love so quick with me we just met and just started dating?" "You were adorable and I love your hair it's so cute and I don't know what sparked in my heart saying you were the one." His eyes sparkled when he looked at me "I-I love you Hideyoshi you are so sweet and cute." We sat down and watched the sunset and kissed then laid down and fell asleep
I woke up to a shaking feeling "Kiyomi umm you and Hideyoshi fell asleep." Me and Jerome and every one else was looking for you "me and Hideyoshi were hugging when we fell asleep." It's night now let's is drive you back to the hotel so you and Hideyoshi can finish on what you were doing. "We just fell asleep." "Sure you did"
well tomorrow is our last day we leave at night and I hope I can stay in Contact with my friend Nicole. I kinda wanna go home I miss school and I need to get studying if I want to get my dream job.
