Unexpected love, chapter 1

Nic Ross woke up at seven in the morning and then remembered that it was the summer. She turned back over and grabbed her blanket. Still, she couldn't seem to fall asleep, so she felt for her laptop until she found it, and then logged onto a online chat group that she had been part of for about a month. She saw all the regular participants, but she also saw someone else, someone new. The named read,"Alex Brooks". At first, Nic thought that it was just another desperate guy until she saw the profile picture, a beautiful girl with perfect locks of blonde hair who looked to be fifteen, just like Nic. She quickly typed out, "Hi! is anybody online??."In about a minute, the new girl typed back, "Hello, I'm Alex, I'm from England." Nic then started a casual conversation and then afterward they continued texting for months and months and whenever they got the chance. Then, finally Alex said that she was going to America and that she was going to meet Nic. Nic typed, "OH MY GOSH THAT'S AMAZING!!" A week later, Alex was on a plane on her way to Nic's house. When she arrived, Nic was amazed by Alex's true beauty. They went shopping and then went back to Nic's house and snuck her father's beer and wine up to Nic's room. Alex glanced shyly at Nic and slowly said, "listen, I know we only just met but... um..." She then leaned in and kissed Nic. Nic's face flushed bright red as she pulled away. She spoke, shocked and said, " Alex I-I..." and then she kissed Alex again and again. Alex woke in the middle of the night, and saw that both of them were half dressed and noticed that their breaths smelled of beer and wine. She laid back down and put Nic's head in her lap and started to rub her black hair. She fell asleep, listening to the soft sound of Nic's breathing and smiling to herself.
