as days went by Gabe and i began to get braver and venture farther and farther from the pod, we had learned how to catch the local fish and cook them and even one fish could be used to get drinkable water. It was just before dark one day when i was looking for copper to fabricate a battery, that i met my first Crash fish, it was dark in the cave and i was shining my light around when i heard a weird screeching sound, as i turned i was met with a small circular fish that had puffed up, moments later it exploded sending me reeling to the cave floor, where i saw sulfur in what looked like a flower, i grabbed it and started swimming away when suddenly my PDA announced i could fabricate a "repair tool" curious as to what it meant i returned to our life pod and searched my blueprints, sure enough i found a repair tool in the new listings tab, so figuring it couldn't hurt to make one, i selected the blueprint and the fabricator 3D printed the tool, when i picked it up i stupidly pulled the trigger and then touched the front, only to yell and pull my hand away. Gabe started laughing from our makeshift bunks and asked "What did you think was gonna happen moron?" I ignored Him and walked over to the wall, and tried pulling the trigger against the damaged cables, too my surprise the cables melted together and the computerized voice said "Lifepod secondary systems online. Running full environment diagnostic and outputting results to data-bank."  i looked at Gabe and smirked "who's the moron now?" i asked in a taunting voice. He just shrugged in reply and went back to messing with lifepods radio Tranciever, I look at him and shake my head sadly, "Gabe, all we've been able to get is signals from the other lifepods, but whenever we get there, we find out they are all dead anyway......noones com-" im cut off as the radios starts to blink and a voice begins to speak through it "This is Avery Quinn of trading ship Sunbeam. Aurora, do you read? Over. Still nothing. These Alterra ships. They run out of engine grease, they send an SOS; you offer to help, they don't pick up. Aurora, we're out on the far side of the system, it's going to take more than a week to reach your position, do you still need our assistance? Over. I'll try them again tomorrow. See what the long-range scanner picks up in the meantime. Damn charter's going to have us wasting our profit margin running errands for Alterra."  Me and Gabe exchange glances for a second and then i try to send a message "Sunbeam this Aurora! There are only Two Survivors please! we need help!" Nothing but silence Answers me, and Gabe and i Call it a night. Maybe tomorrow there will be another message
