Notes:

- Here's an "Ant and Dec are teachers-fic" for you, @Evytju because we understand that you like when they are.

- IM SO EXCITED ABOUT MAMMA MIA 2(!!!), and now when they released their version of When I Kissed The Teacher, I got a fanfic-idea.

- I've used some lines from the song in the end, and therefore the text is written in past, even though it always feels unnatural and forced when I don't use present, so an extra sorry for the languages this time.

Declan Donnelly's crush on his colleague Anthony, or Mr McPartlin as the students used, started already the first day, the first second when he laid his eyes on the slightly taller, dark-haired man. Declan remembered being really, really nervous when he stood beside the principal together with a few other new teachers when they were introduced to the rest of the team at the school.

He thought it was impossible for a heart to beat faster than his had done when he presented himself. But when he, about half an hour later, shook hands with Anthony, his heart actually pounded even hard in his chest than during the seconds when he said his name and told everybody that his subjects were English and psychology. He took Anthony's hand and looked into his amazing eyes and instantly thought that he was the ideal man.

Taller than Declan himself, but not threatening tall. He looked strong and confident, things Declan loved and fell for every time. After years of denying it, he confessed it for himself; he was a guy with a lot of little-brother-syndrome and he loved to be cared about. You had me at hello - Anthony had him with that smile. A perfect smile and a perfect man.

With dark, almost black hair Dec wanted to run his hand through. A chest Dec just wanted to put his head on and then feel Anthony's strong arms encircle his body. Just holding him close for a moment. Long, long eyelashes - amazing in itself! And to not talk about his eyes. With a colour he couldn't really put his finger on, something he used as an excuse to keep looking into those eyes.

Eyes that really were sparkling when Anthony talked about mathematics or philosophy. At first, he couldn't at all understand how someone could be a teacher in something so strict as math, and something so equivocal as philosophy, at the same time. Declan asked about it and Anthony laughed in a way that made him feel quite stupid. But when Dec said that, the other man immediately apologised and in a very kind and educational way, he explained how he thought that the connection between his two subjects was way more logical than between English and psychology.

It only took a week or so to understand why everyone loved Mr McPartlin. A confident and calm character who always listened to his students. That balance between the strictness and the uncompromisable side of him, that the mathematical world required, and the more relaxed and flexible side he probably needed during the philosophy classes, made him to a really, really great teacher. And, he looked stunning, that shouldn't be forgotten.

Anthony McPartlin was an amazing teacher and an amazing person, Dec couldn't help but think that. It might have been wrong, but that was what he thought about the colleague he had known for almost a year. It was a bit embarrassing, but very often when he tried to fall asleep, or when he woke up in the middle of the night, he thought about how much he would love to be close to that guy.

Once it was close that he kissed him. Two weeks after he started, some of the old and some of the new teachers went out a night to get to know each other a bit better. It became a really nice evening, even though the start could've been better; he lost in bowling with the lowest score of them all... But then they continued with a drink outdoors in the late summer sun and that was wonderful.
