You always asked me questions

How are you?

What are you doing Saturday?

What do you like to do the most?

I liked you

I really did

I wanted to know you 

But you never let me in

I opened my heart 

With a smile

I welcomed you in

Though, I memorized what you said

And learned to predict every word

I did not know you like I thought

When you left

I realized

I did not know you at all

Even when I tried

You evaded
