Nightmare Asylum... aka Eichen

I follow Stiles into his room. He just stands there in the middle of the room, deep in thought. I walk up to him and place my hand on his shoulder. I look at him confused when he winces and pulls away, but then I remember his shoulder.

"Your shoulder." I whisper. I pull at his shirt to reveal a nasty mark. It was rows of teeth marks arranged in a circle. That's what was on Donovan's hand. I pull him to the bathroom to clean it up. I pull out the first aid kit as he pulls his shirt off. I start to clean the wound the way my mom taught me. I mumble a small 'sorry' when he winces in pain. I bandage the wound. He walks out of the bathroom to get a new shirt while I clean up my leg and arm. They've already healed but there was still blood. As soon as I finished getting cleaned up, I hear Stiles' phone ring.

Stiles puts the phone up to his ear, "Scott?"

"Stiles, someone's taking the bodies." I hear Scott say. I visibly tense along with Stiles. "Stiles? You there?"

Stiles shakes his head, "Yeah. Um... Where?"

"What are you talking about?" Scott asked. "I'm at the Animal Clinic with Kira. Tracy's body is gone. The lock on the door was broken from the outside. And my mom just told me Lucas's body went missing from the morgue. They've been searching the whole hospital for it. Someone's stealing the bodies."

Malia went to Tracy's yesterday to see if she could find anything about her being a chimera. She didn't find anything but a book on her dresser. On the front cover there were the three medieval looking scientists. Malia said that she had seen them when Tracy was killed. They're called The Dread Doctors. So, all of us have to read the book in order to get some answers.

"I don't think the Dread Doctors are the ones stealing the bodies." Scott said as we walked down the stairs in the library. I got a chill as we walked past the scaffolding. Stiles thinks that we should keep Donovan between us for now.

I look at him, "Are we really calling them that?"

"Think about it. They killed Tracy and walked away. They killed Lucas and walked away. Why would they leave and come back to take the bodies?" He explains.

"Someone else has to be taking them." I say.

"But the bodies aren't just bodies. They're... They're failures." Scott says.

I stop at the door, "So if the Chimeras are all failures, what's the success going to be?"

"Bad. Probably really bad." Scott says. He stops beside me. I hear him sniff the air and look back.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"I thought I smelled blood." He said. I feel my heart rate start to increase. He shakes his head, "I don't know. Maybe not."

We start walking toward the boys locker room.  I look at Scott, "Where are we going? Class is the other way."

"Theo." He answers. 

I stop, "Why are we talking to him?"

"Because we need everyone to read this." He held up the book. "Now come on."

I groan but follow anyway. We walk in the locker room. I see Theo's head snap up and look at us. Scott hands him the book.

Theo starts flipping through the pages, "Sorry, but I'd never even heard of a kanima until a few days ago. You want me to read this?"

"Well not yet. I'm still only on chapter one."Scott answers.

I sigh, "Better than me. I haven't even started it yet."
