Justifiable Homicide

"I know what happened to Donovan." Theo's voice rang out. "I know everything."

I growl at him. I lung at him, slamming him as hard as I could into the fence. "You don't know anything."

Theo struggled trying to get out of my grip, but it was no use. I'm stronger than some little beta.

"I was there. I was at the library." Theo said grunting, "Malia found the book. She was texting us to see where you were. She said she left you at the library. I told her I was close. When I got there, I heard the scaffolding come down." 

"You saw him?" Stiles said from behind me.

"Just the body." Theo answered. I looked behind me at Stiles. He nodded his head at me signaling I can let go of him. I looked back at Theo. He slowly let go of my arm he had in his grip. I let go of his shoulders and backed up. "I watched you two come out. I was gonna say something, but I saw the cop car. And the body was gone. I don't know who took him. I only saw what you guys saw, and I didn't say anything because you didn't."

Theo stopped talking for a moment when sirens could be heard in the distance, "That's not an ambulance, is it?"

Stiles shook his head. He started to walk toward the edge of the building but Theo stopped him, "We should get out of here."

I look at the chimera, "We can't just leave him."

Theo looked between me and Stiles. I know Stiles would already have agreed with me. Theo shook his head, "Alright, let's take him. Somebody's stealing the bodies anyway, right? Here's the chance to find out who." Theo started to move but stopped when he seen that we weren't moving. "Guys, come one. We gotta do something."

"You killed him." Stiles spoke up.

"In self defence." He said, "He was going to kill you, me, and Autumn. If we stay, we are going to have to tell the truth or we're going to need a pretty convincing story. It's your guy's choice. I'm not going to ask you to lie to your dad, Stiles."

Stiles sighed, "Don't worry. I've had plenty of practice."

"Oh, I hate the fact that you're right." I groan quietly before going over to help them.

Stiles took the sheet off of the chimera's face to show Scott. We somehow, without getting caught, were able to manage getting him out of the hospital. We brought him to the animal clinic.

"Do you know him?" I ask Scott.

Scott shook his head, "His name is Josh. He's a junior. Which one did it? The one with the cane?" 

I look to Stiles and then to Theo. I don't have an answer. Luckily Theo spoke up, "Yes."

"What are we going to do with him? We can't just set the alarm and leave. That's how Tracy disappeared." I say.

Stiles agrees, "All right. Someone's got to stay here with him."

"I'll do it." All three of us look at Theo. "It's not like I have a big Saturday night planned."

Scott's phone vibrated. He look it out of his pocket. After he read the message, his face twisted into shock.

"What is it?" Stiles asked.

"Another one. Another chimera." Scott answers.

Scott knocked on Hayden's door. She's a sophomore along with Liam. He's been following her like a lost puppy and somehow figured it out.
